Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Tottenham and Manchester City will face each other in an all-English quarter-final of the Champions League next month.

Last year's beaten finalists Liverpool received arguably the most favourable draw after being paired with Porto, while Manchester United face a daunting tie against Barcelona.

United and Liverpool will meet in the semi-finals if they reach the last four, with Tottenham or Manchester City facing the winner of the quarter-final between Ajax and Juventus.

So, the stories keep flowing with the latest draw in the Champions League!

No doubt the biggest is that of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's return to the Camp Nou as Man United attempt to see off La Liga leaders Barcelona.

And there is also an all-Premier League tie, with Spurs facing Manchester City!

Ajax will be looking to topple Juventus and end their dream after ending Real Madrid's hopes of a fourth consecutive title.

Liverpool will also face Portuguese champions Porto to complete the draw

Here are the all-important dates for the next stage of the Champions League:

1st leg: 9th and 10th April

2nd leg: 16th and 17th April

A man in the other half of Manchester will have fond memories of this.

Well as Juventus and Liverpool fans breathe a very slight sigh of relief with their draws, their are some tasty fixtures for the Manchester clubs.

Spurs and City will probably sick of the sight of the other by the time of the second leg given that they lock horns on three occasions in 10 days.

And Barcelona vs Manchester United needs no introduction does it?
