With less than two weeks to go until Black Friday’s main event, hundreds of early deals are dropping from major brands and retailers, including Currys, Argos, Debenhams, Boots, Shark and more, so you can start your shopping right away.
Whether you’re looking to stock up on beauty essentials, replace your old laptop, or invest in a new mattress, the IndyBest team has been compiling hundreds of impressive deals in our Black Friday shopping guides. But for real-time updates on discounts and news as it drops, our liveblog has you covered.
The Black Friday sales could save you cash on a TV, toys, jewellery and furniture, but the steepest discounts aren’t necessarily the best deals. The most impressive discounts are those on products that are actually worth your money, so we’ll make sure to bring you offers on items we’ve tested ourselves.
So far, Samsung has started its sale, ghd is offering up to 25 per cent off everything, Oodie has 50 per cent off blanket hoodies and Dyson is offering hundreds of pounds off its products. Save 20% on the Microsoft Surface Laptop
Microsoft has kicked off its early Black Friday sale, dropping discounts of up to 28 per cent across its new Surface Laptop range. While far from the cheapest laptop deal you’re going to find, this is a big saving on a premium device. If you’ve been eyeing up Microsoft’s rival to the MacBook, now’s your chance to grab one for less.

I’m a big fan of the Surface Laptop, featuring it on my round-up of the best laptops of 2024. The device is as near to a MacBook-style experience as you’ll find on any Windows laptop. Meanwhile, the minimalist design, unified and streamlined software, and premium build quality all scream top-tier, with none of the usual bloatware and tacked-on apps found in other high-end Windows laptops.

Best Xbox Series S deals right now
While it’s not the cheapest price I’ve seen the Xbox Series S fall to, Amazon’s currently the only retailer with a discount on the Xbox Series S right now.

Already good value, the Xbox Series S is a more compact console than the beefier Xbox Series X. They have the same CPU, but the Series X has a more powerful GPU. They can both play next-gen games, however.
Philips Hue Black Friday deals are live
I absolutely love Philips Hue lightbulbs, but they aren’t the cheapest things in the world. You can change the colour of the bulbs, set schedules for when they turn on and even wake you up gently in the morning. They’re also Alexa compatible – so you don’t actually have to leave the bed if you want to turn on or off the light. Win.

The Oura Ring 3 has plummeted in price
If you’re fed up of smartwatches dying on you, the Oura Ring 3 might be your new favourite companion. A smart ring that can do almost everything a smartwatch can do (except tell the time), it’s one of my favourite wearables and is currently discounted to its lowest-ever price.

The Oura smart ring tracks your sleep, activity, stress, heart rate and more. When wellbeing writer Kat reviewed the ring, she particularly liked the sleep features: “The recommended bedtime was a bit like that best friend who’s always looking out for you – it did give me an extra push to put my phone down and go to sleep.” The ring comes in six colourways, including silver, gold, brushed titanium and rose gold.
Will Steam have a Black Friday sale?
Gamers, if you’re looking for Black Friday discounts, you won’t find any at Steam. That doesn’t mean there won’t be any discounts, however.
Steam runs what it calls an “autumn sale”, during which it slashes the price on thousands of games. The event starts on 21 November this year and ends just before Black Friday, on 28 November. Unlike other fashion brands (think Asos and Mango), Zara usually waits until the eve of Black Friday to kick off its Black Friday sale. If you’re hunting for deals in the run-up, make sure the brand’s special prices section is on your radar. The brand sells clothing at reduced prices in this section year-round. Case in point: this lovely tote bag.

If there’s anything you need to know about iPhone deals, then it’s probably the fact that discounts on the latest model are practically non-existent until the following year after its release, when it receives a small price cut at third-party retailers. That’s why I was gobsmacked to find a £20 discount on the handset at Giffgaff.

You can currently save £20 on the iPhone 16, which usually costs £799, at Giffgaff. Just buy a £10 plan with Giffgaff to take advantage of the offer, then just cancel or change as soon as you’ve paid. This trick gets you the handset for a cheaper price. This year’s base iPhone 16 gets the new A18 chip rather than using the chip from last year’s Pro phones, giving it speedy all-round performance.

The Charlotte Tilbury Black Friday sale is officially live! The brand is continuing to slash prices on all its top products between now and Black Friday, and Lucy’s got all the details. She’s spotted this saving on a tried and tested soft radiance kit.
