Round 4: Karolina comes out swinging in the fourth and has a little bit of success, probably her best phase of the bout. Karolina tags Joanna! Joanna is rocked and is sent sprawling across the Octagon! Karolina goes on the attack, and despite wearing one herself, Karolina tags her again. The champion is clinging on, but manages to clinch and looks to have recovered somewhat. Two minutes left and Karolina has Joanna pinned on the fence. Karolina is having success when she catches Joanna's kicks, and she's countering with right hands that are having a good effect. Joanna comes back strong at the end of the round, but that one goes to the challenger. A cracking round from both.
WHAT. A. FIGHT. The pair get a standing ovation, and for all her domination in the first three rounds, Joanna took a battering in the final two rounds, and has the swelling to show for it.

And the winner is...Joanna Jedrzejczyk retains the strawweight championship!
Both Jedrzejczyk vs Kowalkiewicz call for a UFC main event in Poland, and on the evidence of this, why the hell not?! Given how big MMA is over there, and the two leading women's strawweight fighters are Polish, it's about time they get their own show. A rematch? I'd certainly sit through that again.
Tyron Woodley vs Stephen Thompson
One title fight down, two to go! Next up, it's time for the welterweight division to take centre stage. Tyron Woodley stunned the world when he knocked out Robbie Lawler in stunning circumstances. However, he comes up against one of the most unique fights in the UFC in Wonderboy, Stephen Thompson, with the karate expert racking up a series of unique knockouts along his career. That said, Woodly boasts incredible brute strength.

Out comes Wonderboy to, you guessed it, Wonderboy, and boy he looks relaxed. Thompson emerges from the darkness of backstage singing along to his walk-out music, but then he changes his mentality once inside the Octagon.

Here comes Woodley, a much more focused look on his face. Bizarrely, the champion goes into the fight as the slight underdog, which after his one-punch dismantling of Lawler, you have to question.

The build-up to this fight has been very respectful - unlike our final showdown - and as Woodley rounds the Octagon, he touches gloves with Thompson. Wonderboy will have a 3' height advantage, but only a 1' reach advantage. Will it make a difference? Lawler was, after all, a fair bit shorter and thus made the perfect target for Woodley.
