Teams...
Ireland: Jared Payne; Keith Earls, Garry Ringrose, Robbie Henshaw, Simon Zebo; Jonathan Sexton, Kieran Marmion; Jack McGrath, Rory Best, Tadhg Furlong, Donnacha Ryan, Iain Henderson, CJ Stander, Sean O'Brien, Jamie Heaslip.
Replacements: Niall Scannell, Cian Healy, John Ryan, Devin Toner, Peter O'Mahony, Luke McGrath, Paddy Jackson, Andrew Conway.
England: Mike Brown; Anthony Watson, Jonathan Joseph, Owen Farrell, Elliot Daly; George Ford, Ben Youngs; Joe Marler, Dylan Hartley, Dan Cole, Joe Launchbury, Courtney Lawes, Maro Itoje, James Haskell, Billy Vunipola.
Replacements: Jamie George, Mako Vunipola, Kyle Sinckler, Tom Wood, Nathan Hughes, Danny Care, Ben Te'o, Jack Nowell.
24 mins: Ireland survived the initial counter shove from the English pack, and as Iain Henderson burrowed his way through, he reached out to dot the ball down, with the TMO confirming the decision. Sexton adds the extras and Ireland lead 10-3.
27 mins: Ireland break again! Earls is released down the right wing and in space, and he makes about 40m before he's tackled by Brown. England force the knock-on though and kick clear, and O'Brien knocks the ball on. England turn down the scrum to take a quick lineout and they're off, Daly collecting a chip over to break into the Irish half. Two more carries and England are into the 22, but Ireland turn the ball over in the ruck and kick clear again. Farrell responds by sending the ball into space, and now we've got some aerial ping pong. It ends with Ireland winning a penalty on their own 10m line as Brown is accidentally offside. Frantic play.
32 mins: Lots of Irish pressure comes to nothing as Sexton's high ball is too long for the chasers, allowing Daly to catch the ball inside his 22, calls the mark and clear to touch. From the lineout, Marmion's inside ball is judged to be forward, and England have the scrum on the edge of their own 22. But Ireland are definitely in control as we head towards half-time.
35 mins: That's a big error from Ford as he kicks the ball into touch after it was passed back into his own 22. It gives Ireland great field position, but England wrap the ball up in the maul and win the scrum put-in as a result.
36 mins: Vunipola takes the carry from the scrum, and offloads to Farrell. it's a bad decision, as the centre is held up by Sexton, Henshaw and O'Brien, and Ireland return to favour to win the scrum.
38 mins: Ireland can't do much with the ball and O'Mahony is eventually penalised for diving off his feet, relieving the pressure on England.
40 mins: England attack down the right and Joseph chips behind. Watson is after it, but Zebo is able to watch it into touch 10m out from his own line. We'll have enough time to the lineout, but it's knocked forwards and that's half-time.
Ireland lead 10-3 at the break!
Half-time: A thrilling half of rugby there. Ireland are good value for their lead, and you get the sense that England really are struggling to cope with the intensity. However, England have had half chances, the Daly break being the biggest of the lot, but they simply haven't threatened the Irish 22. It looks like Eddie Jones will be relying on those finishers once again.
Half-time: The England replacements are going through their usual warm-up during the half-time break, with all eight out there, so they're unlikely to make any changes immediately. Eddie Jones has his work cut out though, as England rarely threatened during that half.
As for Ireland, they showed a better clinical edge, with Best's decision to go for the corner vindicated in Henderson's try.
