The January transfer window has shut and Premier League sides will have to make do with what they have until the summer beyond free agents.
Crystal Palace's late swoop for Michy Batshuayi on loan should provide intrigue with the Belgian flopping at Valencia and requiring a fresh start, and with the Eagles still to face Man United, Arsenal and Tottenham, he could still aid Chelsea this season.
Arsenal wrapped up the loan (with an option to buy) signing of Barcelona's Denis Suarez to give Unai Emery an alternative option, whilst Newcastle's club record £21 million move for Miguel Almiron should please Rafa Benitez after a turbulent few weeks.

James Bree here, looking absolutely delighted to be leaving a side placed sat tenth in the table for a stint at the side sat last.
Kilmarnock have signed 19-year-old Canada international Liam Millar on loan from Liverpool.
The forward has four caps and was Liverpool Academy's top scorer last season with 19 goals. He is a regular with the under-23 team and signed a new long-term Anfield deal before moving to Rugby Park.
Killie midfielder Dom Thomas has extended his loan deal with Dumbarton for the rest of the season.
Poor James Bree still isn't really feeling this Ipswich move.
N'Koudou has spoken for the first time since signing for Monaco:
I am very happy to return to Ligue 1 and to get involved with AS Monaco. I look forward to meeting my teammates and giving everything on the field with this red and white jersey.
Confirmation that Emile Smith-Rowe has joined RB Leipzig on loan for the rest of the season, as The Independent reported yesterday.
Here's what Unai Emery had to say:
Emile is a promising young player. This move will get him valuable competitive action which is important as he continues his development.
Roy Hodgson has questioned Crystal Palace's transfer policy, revealing he has no need for January signing Lucas Perri who 'far from his list of priorities'.
The Eagles have shed a lot of players this month, with Jason Puncheon, Jordon Mutch, Alexander Sorloth and Jonny Williams all leaving in some capacity or another but only two players coming in.
Christian Benteke and Connor Wickham returning from injury have helped Palace's thin squad, but describing Perri - a fourth-choice keeper - and free agent Bakary Sako as two new signings appears to have irked Palace boss Hodgson.
“We have brought in one player that I wanted in Bakary Sako – I think he will help us," Hodgson told a press conference.
“I was told we brought in two players but to be honest, I don’t really count the young goalkeeper who is here with a view to the future and with a view to us assessing him over the next six months.
“A goalkeeper was far from my player on a list of priorities because we have three very good goalkeepers at a senior level.”
Vincente Guaita, Wayne Hennessey and Julian Speroni have all played in the Premier League this season but Guaita is fit again and has now established himself as first choice when fit.
Crouch is a Claret!
Burnely have confirmed the signing of Peter Crouch from Stoke on a deal until the end of the season.
The deal sees Sam Vokes go the other way to Stoke on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
“I still want to achieve things. I want to get more games in the Premier League and I would love to add to the 100 Premier League goals,” Crouch said.
“If I can add to that and get up the list that would be great as well, and hopefully that will all cumulate in Burnley moving forward.
“It’s a club that is stable in the Premier League now. We’ve got to make sure we stay there this year and build on that.
“For me it’s a great place to be and I’m really excited to get started.
“My game has probably changed a little bit. I’m not 25. But my attributes haven’t waned. I never really had blistering pace, so I haven’t lost that.
Another United departure
Manchester United goalkeeper Joel Pereira has joined Belgian side KV Kortrijk on loan until the end of the season.
He joins youngster Matty Willock, who joined League Two Crawley on loan, as the only two bits of business for United on deadline day.
