Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

In that streak, the team has 33 goals and has not conceded a goal in the last six games — a first under Guardiola.
Wolverhampton Wanderers avoided becoming the latest Premier League casualty only by scoring in the third minute of injury time to salvage a 2-2 draw at third-tier Shrewsbury.
Wolves, who knocked out Liverpool in the third round, rested key players for the game despite not being in genuine danger of relegation in its first season back in the Premier League.
In an all-Premier League matchup, Watford won 2-0 at Newcastle, which hasn't progressed beyond the fourth round since 2006. Brighton was taken to a replay by second-tier West Bromwich Albion after a 0-0 draw.
And after Everton were stunned by Millwall, West Ham were knocked out by AFC Wimbledon. Re-live the action:

There's a notable extra spring in Everton's steps at the start of this half, very similar to the way they started the first.

Millwall fans are convinced they should have a penalty but Seamus Coleman blocks the ball with his body.
Back to what we saw for the majority of the first half at the moment.
55 min: Millwall 1-1 Everton
Another injury concern for Everton, with Calvert-Lewin down after contesting a high ball with Jake Cooper.
The young striker is able to continue though, and in the next attack Sigurdsson sees his deflected shot earn Everton a corner.

The rain is starting to pour down again, and it is Everton's turn to appeal for a penalty because of a tug on Kurt Zouma's shirt at a corner.

That's a lovely move from Marco Silva's side, however the man who starts it cannot finish it, as Idrissa Gueye cannot control Lucas Digne's cross.

Weather conditions are not pleasant to say the least here, so much so that I've started to play a game of who is who on the field.
Cenk Tosun has come on in the meantime, replacing Calvert-lewin, who struggled today.

The first yellow card of the game is for Murray Wallace, after tugging back Ademola Lookman.
