The Cherries impressed for large parts of the first half and saw David Brooks hit a post after 18 minutes.
Everton, though, grabbed the opening goal just after the hour mark when Zouma headed home Digne's cross.
The hosts then wrapped up the three points when substitute Dominic Calvert-Lewin converted Lookman's low cross in added time.

Pickford tries to play out from the back but only picks out Fraser, who puts the ball into the box. King heads over the bar, but there are more groans from the Everton fans, who aren't happy with what has, so far, been another sloppy performance.

Finally, Everton attack with some purpose. Sigurdsson plays the ball down the line for Lookman, who drills an accurate ball into the path of Bernard. His header is wayward, but it's much better from the hosts.

Everton deal with a couple of Bournemouth set pieces and then counter attack through Richarlison. He can't find Lookman and Bournemouth do enough to get the ball clear. The home side manage to sustain some pressure, though, which energises the fans, who've had little to enjoy thus far.

Lookman fires an inviting ball across goal, but there's no one there to convert it. Everton are, at least, beginning to threaten now, having been dominated for most of the first half.

The hosts are playing with far more control now. Lookman plays another perfectly-weighted pass into the path of Coleman, whose cross is blocked. The resulting corner is cleared, but only as far as Digne, who lifts the ball back into the box. Keane flicks it on and his header bounces off the crossbar.

Everton win a free kick just outside the box, which Digne strikes disappointingly against the wall. He immediately tries again from the rebound, but his shot is equally tame and blocked easily.

Sigurdsson tries a snapshot from just outside the box, but drags it wide with his left foot. There'll be one minute of added time.
Half time: Anthony Taylor brings the first half to a close in the pouring rain at Goodison Park. Bournemouth were by far the better side for the opening half hour, and probably should have led through Brooks. But Everton have fought back and might punish the visitors for their profligacy after the break.
Everton get us going again for the second half. Can either side break the deadlock here? The first half would suggest the answer to that is yes.
