From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. The Cherries impressed for large parts of the first half and saw David Brooks hit a post after 18 minutes.
Everton, though, grabbed the opening goal just after the hour mark when Zouma headed home Digne's cross.
The hosts then wrapped up the three points when substitute Dominic Calvert-Lewin converted Lookman's low cross in added time.

Tottenham 0-1 Manchester United
90+4 minutes
Llorente chests down a long ball and plays a pass into the path of Kane. There's just too much on it as Kane stretches. That's probably it.
Full time: That's it! United hold on. Rashford's first half goal, despite the almost constant Spurs pressure after the break, is enough for the visitors, who move level on points with Arsenal. De Gea was at his brilliant best to keep a clean sheet and secure another victory for Solskjaer.
That's five league wins from five for Solskjaer, who has transformed this United team in the space of a few weeks. They will be looking upwards now, having clawed themselves back into contention for the top five.
Tottenham will consider themselves unfortunate to have lost given the number of chances they created in the second half. But it could prove a costly defeat. They are now nine points behind Liverpool and only one above Chelsea. Any remaining title hopes have gone.
