This year sees Manchester City try to defend their crown and claim a historic fourth title in succession. Pep Guardiola’s all-conquering City, who also won the Champions League and FA Cup last season, will have to see off Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and the rest to claim an unprecedented sixth league title in seven years.
Meanwhile Luton Town are making their first appearance in the Premier League, having risen from non-league in an incredible decade of progress. They followed Championship winners Burnley and second-placed Sheffield United in earning promotion to the top flight.

City once again look to test Brighton's defence as Doku finds Silva in the box with a smart throughball. The Portuguese midfielder dinks the ball over the goalkeeper but after a scramble in the penalty area the ball is cleared.

Doku once again evades multiple challenges from the Brighton defence, cutting inside and looking to cause problems in the final third. He darts towards the penalty area and tries to find Alvarez with a throughball, but Dunk deals with the situation well and clears.

Foden looks to find the run of Haaland in behind the Brighton defence, but Igor is equal to it and glances a header out for a corner. The Norwegian striker was lurking and it's an important interception from the defender. City don't appear to be satisfied with just the two goals so far today!
