Cancelo reveals why he left Juventus
Portugal right-back Joao Cancelo joined Manchester City from Juventus for £60m, with Danilo going the other way, and says he wants to improve as a player with Pep Guardiola.
But who will be first-choice? Kyle Walker or Cancelo?
"As a player I like new challenges and was aware of the competition here," Cancelo said at his unveiling. "Walker is a great player the more competition you have the better to improve as a player. I dream to be the best right back and only playing with the best you can achieve that. The team has the best players and it’s a great place to develop.
"Obviously, Pep Guardiola was a big reason for me coming here I have always admired him. It’s not by chance City have won the last two Premier Leagues and won all domestic trophies in England last season. I love his style of play and character. Obviously that’s one of the reasons I am here."

Brighton ‘close’ to signing Mooy
Brighton are "close" to completing a deal for Huddersfield midfielder Aaron Mooy ahead of the transfer deadline, according to manager Graham Potter.
Australia international Mooy made 65 Premier League appearances for the Terriers during the past two seasons before their relegation in May.
"I think we're close at the moment but nothing to announce formally," said Potter. "But he's a player we like, of course, and we hope that we can get it finalised today.
"He's had experience of promotion out of the Championship and he's also had experience of being in the Premier League and, in terms of a character, we like him a lot. His attributes as a footballer, I think they fit into our group. I'm reluctant to go into too much detail, forgive me, because he's not our player."
Brighton's summer spending currently stands at around £60million. Aside from Mooy, Potter does not expect any further arrivals.
"No. We'll be happy with what we have," he replied when asked about further additions.
"Delighted with the group, they've been a real joy to work with throughout pre-season. I think they've got better and better. (We're) Happy with the guys we've added." (PA)
West Brom sign West Ham midfielder
West Brom have confirmed that West Ham midfielder Grady Diagana will play at The Hawthorns on loan next season.
The 21-year-old signed his first professional contract while current Baggies boss Slaven Bilic was in charge at West Ham.
Sporting and Technical Director Luke Dowling said: “Grady comes with good Premier League experience but he’s now at this early stage of his career where he needs to get good, regular game time.
“He is direct with his running, has good ability and will be another exciting addition to our squad.”

Why are the Premier League champions signing Scott Carson?
Scott Carson is set to join Manchester City on a season-long loan from Derby County, in one of the more surprising transfer deadline day deals, but WHY?
Here's the answer...
Spurs departure
Tottenham defender Cameron Carter-Vickers has joined Stoke on a season-long loan.
Stoke manager Nathan Jones said: “Cameron’s arrival strengthens our central defensive resources which is something we made a priority after Ryan Shawcross suffered his unfortunate injury.
“He was wanted by a number of clubs at this level and we’re delighted to have managed to sign him.”
The US international has made four first team appearances for Spurs and has previously been on loan at Swansea City, Sheffield United and Ipswich Town.
Chelsea latest
Michy Batshuayi will turn down the chance to leave Chelsea on loan and stay to fight for his place under Frank Lampard.
The forward was linked with a loan move to a number of clubs, including Crystal Palace where he played the second half of last season, but Football.London reports that he wants to prove himself under the new manager.
Tammy Abraham is most likely to get the nod against Chelsea as the only striker in Lampard's 4-2-3-1 formation after starting in the most recent friendly matches.
Olivier Giroud committed his future to the club and will also compete for the single place in the XI.
Class of 92 on Lukaku
Gary Neville and Paul Scholes are not disappointed to see Romelu Lukaku leave Manchester United as a £72m move to Inter Milan draws near.
Scholes said Lukaku does not suit former team-mate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's style.
"I don't think he was suited to Ole either," the former United midfielder claimed. "Ole wants someone with a bit of energy, a bit of speed, someone who is going to work hard (but) he'll score goals."
Phil Neville told PA: "He started well, didn't he? He started well.
"I'll be honest with you, I never felt as if he was a United centre forward. That was my feeling. But he started well, then obviously he lost a little bit of confidence and then found it difficult to get back up to form.
"I think there was always that feeling of was he fit enough? And was his style suited to playing football for Manchester United? That was my question.
"He'll always score goals wherever he goes. He'll score goals for Inter Milan. But the way you want to play, you've got to fit the right people on the bus and Romelu Lukaku was never that person."
