Everton vs Liverpool LIVE: Latest score, goals and updates from Premier League fixture today
Follow all the action as the Toffees aim to stay top of the Premier League with the champions desperate to bounce back
Everton host Liverpool in the Merseyside derby looking to snap a 22-game, 10-year winless streak against their local rivals.
They enter the game in fine form, too, four wins from four games and top of the Premier League with their rivals, as defending champions, three points off the pace having been humbled by Aston Villa in a heavy 7-2 defeat before the international break.
Carlo Ancelotti has inspired the Toffees with Dominic Calvert-Lewin and James Rodriguez shining so far this term, while Jurgen Klopp will also have the Champions League to consider and a trip to Amsterdam to take on Ajax just three days after this game. Follow all the action, updates, analysis and reaction from Goodison Park below.
Everton 1 - 2 Liverpool - Salah
72 mins: GOAL! Where has that come from? Fabinho sends the ball out to Henderson on the right. He crosses the ball and Mina tries to clear the ball with his right foot whilst looking the wrong way. The ball drops to Salah who drills one into the bottom corner.
69 mins: Andre Gomes takes out Fabinho in the middle of the pitch and gets booked as well. The game has lost a bit of it’s zip and is becoming a little scrappy.
66 mins: Sadio Mane picks up a yellow card for colliding with Lucas Digne. They both had eyes on the ball and ran into each other. Digne came off worse so Mane gets booked.
63 mins: Rodriguez runs up to the edge of the box and goes for goal himself. He tries to curl one into the bottom left corner but Adrian gets low to push it away.
60 mins: Richarlison gets the best chance of the second half as James Rodriguez picks him out with a pinpoint chipp into the box. Richarlison wins the header but directs the ball onto the post but he knows he should have scored.
57 mins: Robertson is back on the pitch. He bursts down the left wing and completely mishits the ball as he tries to cross it and it rolls out for a goal kick.
54 mins: Yerry Mina and Andy Robertson come together off the ball and the Liverpool man comes off worse. He looks okay as he jogs off the pitch to get checked over. It would a massive blow for Liverpool if he went off.
51 mins: Rodriguez picks out Digne on the left with a beauty of a pass. Digne’s cross almost finds Calvert-Lewin in the middle, but Adrian gets their first, juggles the ball and then smothers it.
48 mins: Mane links up with Robertson on the left and the defender whips another cross into the box. Keane gets the ball away as far as Henderson who strikes the ball on the half-volley and sends it over the goal.
