At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Gunners boast a commanding 3-1 aggregate lead from the first leg, when Martin Odegaard gave his side the lead with a fierce long-range shot. A calamitous error gifted the Greek champions a second-half equaliser, however, Gabriel Magalhaes and Mohamed Elneny seized a firm advantage for Mikel Arteta’s side in the final 15 minutes. Arsenal are clear favourites to progress to the quarter-finals, but will still remember the scars of their dramatic exit at the hands of Olympiacos last season, when Youssef El-Arabi scored a last-gasp extra-time winner at the Emirates.
Arteta confirmed that a line has been drawn under Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s discipline breach, which saw the captain dropped for the club’s 2-1 north London derby victory against Tottenham. “We talked, everything has been resolved in a really positive way. So we move forward,” Arteta said. “Everybody has to obviously perform at the highest level to earn his place in the team and there is no exceptions there.” Follow all the action live below:
78’ - Arsenal 0-1 Olympiacos (3-2 agg)
Pep tries to open his body and curl in a finish, but it’s straight at Sa. Aubameyang fouls his man in trying to track back - he’s had a stinker tonight, in truth.
74’ - Arsenal 0-1 Olympiacos (3-2 agg)
Odegaard with a decent chance to wrap up the tie - but he sends a wild finish well over the bar. Olympiacos will have to pick up the pace again if they want a late comeback.
70’ - Arsenal 0-1 Olympiacos (3-2 agg)
Into the last 20 minutes we go. M’Vila is booked for a late tackle on Pepe; Tierney is spoken to for kicking the ball away. Arsenal don’t have much control of the game at this stage, but they are still ahead.
64’ - Arsenal 0-1 Olympiacos (3-2 agg)
Into the final 25 minutes, with the visitors still needing two goals. No sign of a collapse or anything of that nature from the Gunners, but Olympiacos are certainly asking a few more questions. Thomas fouls Camara just a few yards outside the box, but Fortounis sends it straight into the wall.
OLY subs: Bruma and Randjelovic on for Androutsos and Masouras
60’ - Arsenal 0-1 Olympiacos (3-2 agg)
Tierney sends over a good low cross and it reaches Pepe on the run - but his driven shot hits his own team-mate on the back and flies over the bar. Painful for Odegaard, more so for Pepe though - it was headed on-target.
58’ - Arsenal 0-1 Olympiacos (3-2 agg)
Nicolas Pepe races down the right and tries to clip in a cross, but it’s too close to the keeper and he gets hurt in the process of the run. Should be fine to continue. Odegaard is quickly involved after coming on, sending over a corner and spreading play right to left.
ARS subs: Odegaard and Thomas on for Elneny and Ceballos
54’ - Arsenal 0-1 Olympiacos (3-2 agg)
Arsenal trying to mount some sort of response, but it’s a little disjointed. Arteta making some immediate choices, sending a few out to warm up. Thomas Partey is one of those.

That’s one back! Ceballos loses the ball Olympiacos go three on four, El Arabi cuts inside Luiz and whips a finish near post via a deflection off Gabriel.
