After suffering the humiliation of being eliminated by Sevilla in the round of 16 of last season's competition, Jose Mourinho's men are under pressure to make an impact on the European stage this time around.
Young Boys have never before made it into the Champions League group stage, and are hoping to upset the odds in a group that also includes Juventus and Valencia.

33 mins: Another corner for Young Boys as Sulejmani delivers it trying to find Camara, Smalling holds him off and the ball goes out for a Man Utd throw. They're sloppy with it and Fassnacht claims the ball before firing another effort from outside the box straight at De Gea.
34 mins: Goal! Pogba puts United ahead!
Pogba gives the ball to Fred on the edge of Young Boys box, he gets dispossessed and the ball comes back out to Pogba who runs it forward switches it to his left and slots it into the top left corner with a brilliant strike.
39 mins: Luke Shaw wins a corner, and Fred delivers the ball, Camara wins the header and sends it out for a second corner. This time Lindelof gets the header and he puts it back into the middle of the box but Young Boys scramble to send it out for a third corner. This time they clear it away with no problems.
41 mins: Lukuku is taken down by Von Bergen and seems to land hard on the artificial pitch, United win a free kick in their own half
42 mins: Penalty to Man United! Luke Shaw hits the ball into the box from the left and Mbabu leaves his hand up to give United another chance on goal
43 mins: Pogba slots it home!
Von Ballmoos guesses the correct direction of the ball as he dives to his left but Pogba's right-footed shot is powerful enough to double United's lead

Nabil Fekir doubles Lyon's lead at the Etihad Stadium with a left footed shot from outside the box to the bottom right corner. Memphis Depay has the assist
