Black Friday 2024 live: Latest discounts, from iPads to skincare
Brands and retailers are kicking off their Black Friday sales early, with deals on iPads, PlayStation, Yoto, Zara and more
Black Friday 2024 officially starts on 29 November, but retailers from Currys, Argos and Debenhams to Boots and Shark have already begun their sales. Ecommerce giant Amazon is the latest to launch, with Sony PlayStation and Glossier having joined the action last week.
Whether you’re looking to stock up on beauty essentials, replace your old laptop or invest in a new mattress, the IndyBest team are compiling hundreds of deals in our Black Friday shopping guides. But for real-time updates on discounts and news as it drops, our liveblog has you covered.
But, whether you’re after a TV, toys, jewellery or furniture, the biggest price drops aren’t necessarily the most impressive. The best, genuine deals are those on products that are actually worth your money, so we’ll make sure to bring you offers on items we’ve tested ourselves.
So far, Dyson’s Black Friday sale has discounted the cultairwrap, Sony has discounted the price of the PS5 Slim to an all-time low and Pandora has just launched its sale with up to 30 per cent off jewellery. Elsewhere, you can find bargains at John Lewis, Argos, Lookfantastic and more. It’s shaping up to be one of the biggest Black Friday sales ever.

My Black Friday shopping tips to help you get the best deals
I’ve been covering the Black Friday sales for the past eight years, here’s everything I’ve learned
The Dyson airwrap is reduced to less than £250
The Dyson airwrap is one of the best beauty tools you can own. Launched in 2018, it’s the gold standard for hair styling at home – and now you can snap it up for less thanks to Black Friday 2024 deals.
Dyson airwrap complete volumise: Was £479.99, now £399.99, Boots.com
A cult buy, Dyson’s airwrap complete model is on sale with £80 off at Boots, John Lewis, Currys, Argos and Very. The tool comes with six attachments for optimum when styling, whether you’re creating super sleek looks or a bouncy blowout.
“Despite looking complex, using it was super simple and straightforward,” Lucy said in her review. “It dried and smoothed hair quickly and easily, with minimal effort needed. And the round brush was also a welcome addition here too, as our tester loved using it to dry her hair for a blowdry-esque finish – this is something that she would usually have to use a hairdryer and straighteners to achieve,” she added.

Save £30 on the Ring video doorbell
Ring video doorbell (2024 release): Was £99.99, now £59, Amazon.co.uk
The newest version of our favourite tried and tested video doorbell is now 40 per cent off at Amazon thanks to its Black Friday sale. One of our home testers,Zoe, found the second-generation Ring doorbell to be the best overall in her review, and now the newest model can be all yours for less than £60. Zoe praised the device for being easy to install and loved the efficiency of the Ring app in alerting her to parcels, something we’re all going to need during Black Friday.
When do Black Friday sales end?
This year, the mammoth sale will kick off on Friday 29 November. Lasting a full four days, the deals will end on Cyber Monday (2 December).
If you miss out on bagging a Black Friday deal, the sale continues over the weekend before concluding on Cyber Monday – which is your final chance to score a saving.
Typically, the best deals on tech and home appliances can be found on Black Friday, while Cyber Monday sees bigger savings across beauty, fashion and toys – so, this is worth bearing in mind when ticking off your pre-Christmas shopping list.
Looking for a heated clothes airer deal?
When it comes to doing the laundry in the depths of winter, there’s one appliance you may want to invest in: a heated clothes airer.
While a tumble dryer can cost up to £1.55 an hour to operate (depending on the model), a heated airer is a far more energy-efficient way to dry your clothes, as it is likely to cost less than 40p an hour to run.
Now, you can save even more money, thanks to Black Friday deals from Lakeland, Amazon, Easylife and more. True to form, our team of shopping experts have rounded up the best heated clothes airer offers available.

CeraVe is nearly half price on Amazon
CeraVe is one of my favourite budget beauty brands, with its moisturisers, serums, eye creams and cleansers regularly scoring top spots in IndyBest’s tried and tested reviews. Now, you can save nearly 50 per cent in Amazon’s Black Friday sale.
CeraVe facial moisturising lotion: Was £16.99, now £9.02, Amazon.co.uk
Our tester dubbed this CeraVe lotion as one of the best SPF moisturisers, praising how “it instantly absorbs into the skin, for long-lasting moisture that’s neither sticky nor shiny”. The cream includes hyaluronic acid and glycerin, for all-day hydration, with our reviewer adding: “It’s easy to apply and small enough to be popped in a bag.” Now less than £10, investing in this two-in-one formula is a no-brainer.
Here’s how to get a half price Oodie blanket hoodie
Each winter, blanket hoodies are among the hottest buys – and one brand in particular dominates the market: Oodie. Luckily, if you’re looking to save on one of Oodie’s coveted wearable throws, the brand has just announced the return of its mega Black Friday event.
The Oodie, black: Was £65, now £32.50, Theoodie.co.uk
“Large enough to curl beneath it on the sofa but still sufficiently fitted and lightweight to move around the house while working from home, the Oodie will be a saviour when temperatures plummet,” I said in my review of the cult Oodie. My only gripe was its not-so-pocket-friendly price, making this 50 per cent saving especially appealing.

Save £100 on the Oura gen3 ring this Black Friday
“If you’re looking for a sleep tracker, activity tracker or just want to know as much as you can about your body, then the gen 3 Oura ring will tick a lot of your boxes, in one tiny package,” Kat said in her review of the fitness device. With six different coloured rings available (from silver to gold), it’s a more stylish choice than a Fitbit or Garmin.
Oura gen3 horizon smart ring: Was £349, now £249, Amazon.co.uk
When Kat tested the device out, she was impressed with its battery life and sleep insights, as well as fertility and period tracking. Right now, you can save nearly 30 per cent thanks to Amazon and John Lewis (Johnlewis.com), which have both reduced the ring down to its lowest ever price.

Don’t miss this deal on the Hotel Chocolat velvetiser
Now that it’s hot chocolate season, it’s the perfect time to invest in Hotel Chocolat’s velvetiser. With this deal at Amazon, which is also avaiable at Very, you can save £20 when you buy the hot chocolate making machine.
Hotel Chocolat velvetiser starter kit: Was £109.95, now £89.95, Amazon.co.uk
Similar to a milk frother, the Hotel Chocolate velvetier beats and whisks the milk and chocolate powder together, to create a silky-smooth mixture with a frothy top. When reviewing the Hotel Chocolat velvetiser, our writer said: “It takes two and a half minutes to make a Willy Wonka-worthy hot chocolate”, adding that the finished result was “rich and frothy and felt really luxurious”. Surely the perfect antidote to this snowy spell?
Is Lululemon having a Black Friday sale?
Lululemon’s Black Friday sale hasn’t kicked off yet, but you can sign up for early access to be in-the-know when it does. But in the meantime, I’ve found a stellar saving on the gym brand’s cult align pants.
Lululemon align high-rise pant, sakura pink: Was £88, now £64, Lululemon.co.uk
Lululemon’s align leggings range is the fitness world’s worst kept secret. Comfortable, supportive and available in plenty of playful colourways, the leggings are the ultimate studio-to-socialising choice. This pair earned a spot in our round-up of the best yoga leggings, in which our tester said: “These leggings wick sweat perfectly, so you don’t need to shower straight after class – keep these on while you grab a coffee or do brunch.” Right now, you can save more than £20 on the sakura pink style.
