Andy Murray 0-0 Novak Djokovic: Here we go! Murray serves to start.
Andy Murray 0-0 Novak Djokovic: Not the best of starts...a double fault from the Scot hands his opponent the first point. He faults on his next serve too but manages to find service with his second attempt. A lengthy rally ensues but it's Djokovic who eventually hits long to make it 15-15. A Murray ace puts the Scot back in control but yet another double fault undermines his hard work. 30-30.
Andy Murray 1-0 Novak Djokovic: Murray wins the next point on his second serve with a powerful forehand winner down the line. Holding serve, he takes the first game as the Serbian sends a looping shot into the right-hand side alley.
Andy Murray 1-1 Novak Djokovic: The Serbian doesn't seem to be suffering from the same nerves as his opponent. His first serve lands near the T to set him up nicely for a comfortable rally which he dictates to take the first point. An ace and two forehand winners follow. Game. Bread-and-butter stuff from the Serb.
Andy Murray 2-1 Novak Djokovic: Murray showcases his power as he fires a kicking serve down Djokovic's throat. The Serb can only get a weak hand to it as the ball bounces off his racket in the wrong direction. The Scot moves to 40-0 with more impressive serving but a neat drop show from Djokovic in game point upsets Murray's rhythm. He darts to meet it, returns, but subsequently struggles to get back the lob shot that follows. 40-15. A dead net cord from Djokovic makes it 40-30 but another unforced error lets Murray off. He takes the game.
Andy Murray 2-2 Novak Djokovic* (*denotes server): Djokovic knows how to make his opponent work. With a well-placed forehand shot in one corner, he pushes the Scot out wide and ghosts in to the net. Murray manages to return but the Serb is on hand to volley the ball in the opposite direction and well out of reach. From there, Djokovic finds his stride, dominating with his serve and strong forehand play to take the game.
*Andy Murray 3-2 Novak Djokovic (*denotes server): An impressive start as Murray sends a forehand shot right to the left-hand side baseline but Djokovic responds well on the second, forcing his opponent to lurch at a wide shot on the right. It rises up before falling perfectly for the Serb to smash with an overhead volley to take the next point. An unforced error from Djokovic makes it 30-15 before Murray takes it to 40-15 with a backhand winner. He finds the net on the next but his service proves too much for Novak on the game point and Murray takes the game.
Andy Murray 3-2 Novak Djokovic* (*denotes server): After a well-fought cross-court rally, it's eventually Djokovic who lands the killer blow for the first point. Murray manages to return with a stretching forehand but can't find court. He wins the next point on Djokovic's first serve, succumbs to a Serbian ace, but holds on to take it to 30-30 as his opponent once again goes long of the baseline. Murray makes makes it break point as he breaks Djokovic's second serve and it looks like the game is his as he knocks his opponent back and forth the court with some scorching forehand shots...but he ends up netting. Deuce.
