From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

58 mins: Gatland's at it again as he pokes a nice kick towards the Lions' 5m line, and when the ball is knocked forward by the Lions jumper Moriarty, the Barbarians get the put-in. That's Gatland's last contribution, as he's replaced by Joe Webber.

61 mins: The Barbarians cut loose and spread the ball wide as early as possible, though Vaka is wrapped up and tackled into touch.

63 mins: Alun Wyn Jones cuts down Vaka as he comes into contact, but the supporting Lions give the penalty away and the BaaBaas kick to the corner. They lose the lineout though and then compound the matter when Makalio catches the ball in an offside position to give away the penalty.

65 mins: Penalty to the Lions after a driving maul is collapsed, and Farrell points to the posts to get another chorus of boos.

Jack de Menezes3 June 2017 10:08

66 mins: Farrell's kick hits the post! It cannons back off the upright, but Te'o is following up well and hacks in on the volley. It somehow manages to come off his arm though and he knocks it on.

Jack de Menezes3 June 2017 10:09

68 mins: Farrell sends a high bomb up and Tipuric does brilliantly to take the catch on the edge of the 22. He offloads to Webb, who just can't get away from the defence, and when he's tackled the ball is knocked forward. Scrum on the 5m line.

Jack de Menezes3 June 2017 10:12

74 mins: The Barbarians break from their own 22, though they're helped massively by weak tackling from Joseph and George as Laulala ghosts through the gap between them. They manage to move up to the 22, but the ball comes lose and it's judged to be a Lions knock-on.

Jack de Menezes3 June 2017 10:18

79 mins: Jones concedes a penalty in the lineout by tackling the jumper and the Barbarians have one last chance as they go for touch in the Lions 22. Can they snatch the win here?!

Jack de Menezes3 June 2017 10:23

80 mins: No they can't. Mako Vunipola does well to get his hands on the ball and disrupt the maul, and the Lions have the scrum put-in with 30 seconds on the clock.

Jack de Menezes3 June 2017 10:26

80 mins: Farrell kick the ball out and that's the game!

The Lions win 13-7, but the less said about that performance, the better.
