Your support makes all the difference.Follow the latest updates from the final day of the Six Nations after England moved top of the table with a 34-5 bonus-point win over Italy, with France’s clash with Ireland at the Stade de France to decide the destination of this year’s title.
Two tries from England centurion Ben Youngs helped his side secure the bonus point they desperately needed, with Jamie George also scoring on his 50 cap for his country. Tom Curry’s try in the second half secured the crucial bonus point, with Henry Slade adding a fifth for good measure.
It means that England have one hand on the trophy, but will have to wait for the result in the final game of the championship to know if they have clinched the title for the first time since 2017, as if Ireland beat France by six points - so long as they score a try - or by seven points, they will beat England to top spot, while a bonus-point win would also be enough for the Irish.
HALF-TIME
Well let’s look at the one highlight from that half… here’s Rhys Carre’s try that gives Wales a slender lead.

Hastings makes no mistake and the lead is just one point at half-time!

The lineout is good and Kinghorn comes off his wing to break through the line! It gets Scotland on the front foot and Wales immediately give up the penalty with James Davies in at the side, which after great debate will be sent at goal. Hogg wanted more, but former captain Fraser Brown talks him into taking the points and he eventually concurs, which Hastings will take.
40 mins: Wales 7-3 Scotland
Scotland are definitely getting the better of the breakdown battle as this time Watson gets over the ball and wins a penalty in centre field, which Hogg this time sends to touch. One last chance for Scotland.
37 mins: Wales 7-3 Scotland
Scotland this time come up with the major stop as Ritchie gets over the ball and wins a penalty. Hogg’s touch-finder is short though and allows Wales to attack, although the eventual high ball is taken by Hogg and he calls the mark in his 22. He follows up with another poor kick, and with Wales happy to give up possession when Halfpenny immediately kicks back, he draws the error out of Hastings as the replacements fly-half sends a long kick dead from his own 10m line, giving Wales territory.
35 mins: Wales 7-3 Scotland
Adams gets his first chance to break free and he feeds Gareth Davies inside to continue the attack. Scotland are scrambling, and Brown is eventually pinged for a no-arms tackle that allows Biggar to kick a beauty to touch on the five-metre line. This is big pressure on the hosts.
32 mins: Wales 7-3 Scotland
This is a real double blow for Scotland. They make the strange decision to go to the tail under pressure, and after a number of pick and goes, the young prop Rhys Carre powers over from close range to score the first try of the match. Biggar converts in front of the posts, but to make matters worse for the Scots they’ve lost Finn Russel to injury as he’s limped up with an apparent groin issue. Adam Hastings is on at 10 but that’s a big loss.
31 mins: Wales 0-3 Scotland
Brown overthrows at the lineout! Elias gathers and Wales are on the attack…
29 mins: Wales 0-3 Scotland
It feels like Wales are really missing Ken Owens today. The Llanelli hooker knows the stadium, the conditions and is solid in the scrum and lineout, and that’s where Wales are getting hurt right now as they’ve conceded six penalties already today. However, Scotland can’t convert it into anything of note as the lineout goes awry and Wales are able to fight their way back down field. It comes to Faletau, who does excellently to pluck the ball off his toes, and the big No 8 sends a delicate chip through to touch just 10m out from Scotland’s line to pile the pressure on.
