France vs England LIVE: Six Nations rugby result, final score and reaction as France seal Grand Slam
France 25-13 England: Follow live as France seal a Grand Slam and a first Six Nations title since 2010 in Paris
Follow live coverage as France beat England 25-13 in the finale of the Six Nations in Paris to win the Grand Slam and lift the championship trophy for the first time in 12 years.
Fabien Galthie’s side made history as they claimed a Grand Slam and a first championship title since 2010. Victory over England achieved both those goals but the pressure was on, as any other result would have seen Ireland snatch the title after they beat Scotland earlier in the day.
Tries from Gael Fickou, Francois Cros and Antoine Dupont secured the title for Les Bleus in front of a raucous crowd at the Stade de France.
Follow all the latest reaction from the Stade de France:
Ireland 0-0 Scotland, 4 min
Scotland run through the phases but the Irish defence was blistering - eventually forcing Turner to knock-on.
Ireland immediately take advantage and run the ball but the kicking game comes into play.
The hosts will have a line-out at half-way. What a breathless opening few minutes at the Aviva.
Ireland 0-0 Scotland, 3 min
Steyn hunted down a high ball and tackled Keenan well. The Scottish pressure forced Ireland to kick and Graham was off.
But Ireland managed to dislodged the ball at the ruck with the hosts setting up their first attacking play. Hansen can’t quite deliver and so Scotland have the first line-out of the day.
It’s clean and the visitors are marching forwards.
Kick-off: Ireland 0-0 Scotland
We have kick-off and if Scotland can pull this off it will be their first win in Dublin since 2010.
It’s a huge feat but the Scots have broken records of late. They secured their first win in Paris since 1999 last year and they retained the Calcutta Cup for the first time in decades this year.
Here we go...
Ireland vs Scotland
The players are on their way out on the pitch and we will have the anthems next.
Who will claim the win and can Ireland keep their title hopes burning?
All the action starting in five minutes.
Ireland vs Scotland: Title permutations
Permutations can get complicated now the tournament involves bonus points so let’s start with the simplest route.
If France beat England they will take the title and the Grand Slam. And if Ireland lose to Scotland earlier in the day France will be title winners before their match kicks off.
But now things get complicated.
If Les Bleus lose or draw and don’t score four tries for a bonus point, and Ireland beat Scotland, Ireland will win. Ireland have the better points difference so if they and France finish on the same points Andy Farrell’s side will lift the trophy.
If Ireland lose but bag two bonus points - through tries and a losing bonus point - or draw and claim a try bonus point, France could still win if they lose to England. They would just have to finish within seven points of England, to claim the losing bonus point, or bag a try bonus point.

Josh Adams gives Player of the Match award to Ange Capuozzo
That’s a lovely touch from Josh Adams, who even in the pain of defeat acknowledges the performance of the match-winner and gives his Player of the Match award to Ange Capuozzo - and rightly so. Given what it means, that is surely of the great Six Nations tries of all time.
