What a day’s action!

Summer is around the corner already with a glorious day for racing, and it’s a blockbuster card at Kempton Park today, plus there’s action at Lingfield and Newcastle worth looking out for.

It’s the Close Brothers Chase Day, with plenty of races to get stuck into, here’s a brief overview of the schedule today:

Just 12 minutes to the Adonis at Kempton. I'm really looking forward to seeing what Tritonic can do here. He's a 1.94 chance on Betfair.

2. Moss Gill 6-4 Fav

7 ran.

They went a proper pace here (around 42mph), with Lord Riddiford just holding on from favourite Moss Gill. Blue De Vega ran on very nicely into third.

We’ve Listed combat in Lingfield coming up at 2:05. Rocket Action looks quite interesting but the price has contracted and stablemate Blue De Vega three places at 4.3 is preferred.

4 ran.

That was a cracking race to watch. GA Law made it a good test but did tend to jump a bit to his left. Tamaroc Du Mathan cruised to the front two out and was brilliant at the last.

Just under half an hour to the first televised race at Kempton. Punters expect Tamorac Du Mathan (1.88) or GA Law (2.86) to win a fascinating novice chase. GA Law looks the value as he is proven stamina-wise and can make all.

Gunsight Ridge is pretty hot favourite for the first at Kempton (1:15). Tamaroc Du Mathan is 1.83 (5-6) for the first of the graded races.
