Sony Michel's fourth-quarter touchdown proved the defining play of a game that was dominated by defences. The win, a sixth, sees the Pats equal the Pittsburgh Steelers for the most titles ever and gives quarterback Tom Brady the most-ever Super Bowls for a player.

The clock expires and Brady takes the plaudits, it wasn't as pretty as expected, but the dynasty continues.
Brady is 6-3 in Super Bowls now.
Brady on his sixth Super Bowl win:
It's unbelievable to win this game. We played so well. The Rams made it tough on every play. We had a lot of resolve the last few weeks. I wish we had a bit more on offence, but you know, we're Super Bowl champs. It doesn't change anything, I can't wait [to be back], it's been a great year. I'm so happy for my team-mates, it's a dream come true for us all.
Who wins the MVP? It looks like Edelman might land this one.
Brady then confirms he's back for next year.
When will this dynasty end? You wouldn't bet on it being next year after the way Brady has battled through this season.
So the Rams were totally shut down.
They are the second team to not score a touchdown in a Super Bowl, the first since 1971 and the Dolphins in Super Bowl VI.
A woeful 27 of the their 60 plays tonight went for 0 or negative yards (45%). They'll have to lick their wounds and come back stronger next season.
Julian Edelman wins Super Bowl MVP
That's Edelman, who was drafted in 2009 in the seventh round, 232nd overall.
Of course, he started the season banned for PED use.
He ends the game with 10 catches from 12 targets for 141 yards.
