Your support makes all the difference.Shane Lowry captured the imagination of his Irish fans with a stunning victory to win The Open Championship and clinch his first major title.
The 32-year-old hails from Clara some 160 miles south of Royal Portrush across the border, and enjoyed a passionate and ferocious support from a partisan crowd who roared him home from start to finish amid one of the greatest atmospheres ever witnessed in Open history.
Only on the first hole did Lowry look in trouble as he began his round with a bogey, giving Tommy Fleetwood a sniff of a challenge, but from there on no one was able to get close to the Irishman and he eventually held off his English playing partner to claim a six-shot victory and spark wild celebrations on the 18th green.
Fleetwood clinched his joint-best finish in a major but rued what could have been after failing to take his chances early on, while Tony Finau rose through the leaderboard with a supreme par round of 71 in tdreadful conditions to take third place. Re-live the action below.

5th hole
Jim Furyk (+1) slips up on the fourth hole as he bogeys for the first time in his round. He immediately rectifies that mistake though with a three on the fifth to get him back to (+1).
6th hole
Kokrak (+1) goes two-in-two with a birdie two on the par-3 sixth.
1st hole
Game 11 sees the defending champion, Francesco Molinari (+2), partners Thomas Pieters (+1) for the final round. They've just teed off on the first.
2nd hole
Casey (+1) gets his first birdie with a four on the second hole.
9th hole
The first man out today, Ashton Turner (+6), completes the front nine in a 1-under par 35. An eagle on the fifth was followed by a bogey six at the par-5 seven.
1st hole
Pieters' (+1) tee shot on the first flies out of bounds and he's off the the worst possible start.
10th hole
Turner (+5) turns a bad hole into a good one with a perfect chip from the right of the green that lands and skips into the hole are a birdie!
7th hole
Paul Waring's good day takes a big hit on the seventh. He messes up and makes a double bogey seven moving him back to (+4)
1st hole
Molinari (+2) glides his birdie effort past the left edge of the hole and takes par. Pieters (+4) gets off to a terrible start with a 3-over par triple bogey.
2nd hole
Adam Hadwin (evs) emulates the start of Jim Furyk with back-to-back birdies on the opening two holes, he's back to level par for the tournament.
7th hole
Birdies at five, six and seven as well as an earlier one on the second get Jason Kokrak (evs) back to level par, 4-under for the day means he's having the best round so far.
2nd hole
Francesco's (+1) away! He had a long, long birdie putt up the green for an eagle, it rolled and swayed and finished about three feet from the hole. Molinari then sank the put for birdie.
8th hole
Kokrak (evs) pulls his tee shot to the left and into the rough stuff. After consulting the rovers he got free drop and forced his second back into the fairway. Up and down needed to make par.
8th hole
Kokrak (+1) doesn't manage to make par and he cards his first bogey of the day.
5th hole
Casey (+1) all but guarantees a birdie on the drivable fifth. He chips his second shot off the front on the green to with two feet.
His special round of 63 gave Shane Lowry an overnight lead of four shots going into the final day. The same lead he had at the US Open a few years back and failed to transfer into a major win.
He's determined not to let that happen again this week:
9th hole
Out in 33 for Jason Kokrak (+1) only one blemish for him on the front nine, a bogey, on the eighth.
7th hole
Bernd Wiesberger (+1) ends his run of six straight pars with a birdie on the par-5 seventh.
13th hole
It's been an interesting back nine for England's Ashton Turner (+5) it started well with a birdie on 10 but a double bogey on 11 hurt him. The response on 12 and 13 has been quality though, back-to-back birdies puts him at 2-under for the day.
5th hole
Molinari (+1) finds the bunker off the tee on the fifth, not a major disaster as on most holes on this course but it'll be tough for him to make a birdie from here.
