England won the Cricket World Cup after beating New Zealand in a thriller at Lord’s.
Eoin Morgan’s men survived the drama of a super over after New Zealand's 241-8 was matched by England with Mark Wood run out from the final ball of the innings. Ben Stokes, who scored 84 in the chase, then returned alongside Jos Buttler to hit 15 from six balls before Martin Guptill was run out in dramatic fashion handing the tournament hosts the win.

A slower ball from Woakes is chipped to mid-off by Colin de Grandhomme as he tries to work the ball to the leg side. He never looked comfortable since Archer hit him on the helmet and now he's gone.

Woakes hits Latham on the pad first ball. The two batsmen scramble for a single and Woakes misses the stumps as he tries to run out Latham.
Santner whacks a slower ball to leg but only gets one. Woakes sends a cutter wide of leg and Buttler misses it, five wides.

Woakes follows up his wide with a full toss outside off stump that Tom Latham chips to James Vince at mid-off.
