England won the Cricket World Cup after beating New Zealand in a thriller at Lord’s.
Eoin Morgan’s men survived the drama of a super over after New Zealand's 241-8 was matched by England with Mark Wood run out from the final ball of the innings. Ben Stokes, who scored 84 in the chase, then returned alongside Jos Buttler to hit 15 from six balls before Martin Guptill was run out in dramatic fashion handing the tournament hosts the win.
Here's how one of the most dramatic matches in history played out:

40.3 - NZL 180-5, de Grandhomme 6, Latham 24, Plunkett 3-41 (9.3)
Plunkett starts his final over with two dot balls before de Grandhomme works the ball out to the mid-wicket boundary for a single.
41.0 - NZL 181-5, de Grandhomme 6, Latham 25, Plunkett 3-42 (10.0)
Latham pulls a short ball for one. Plunkett continues to ball cross seam deliveries and de Grandhomme doesn't get them away.
He finishes with 3-42 off ten overs. A magnificent effort.
41.3 - NZL 183-5, de Grandhomme 7, Latham 26, Archer 0-22 (5.3)
Here comes Jofra Archer. He has five overs left and will bowl to the end now. Latham takes one off the first ball, de Grandhomme misses the second.
Archer fires a short ball at de Grandhomme who tries to hook it but gets a top edge onto his helmet and the ball lands safely.

Two singles to start the over and then four leg byes off de Grandhomme's shoulder.

De Grandhomme works the ball to fine leg and takes on Rashid's arm making his ground easily as he comes back for two, then he cuts one to point before Latham finishes the over with a pull for one.

Three runs from Archer's first three deliveries, he's bowling fiercely here. New Zealand bring up their 200.

Archer hits de Grandhomme again, this time with a slow bouncer. Archer then bowls back-to-back wides down the leg side before Latham gets another single.

Mark Wood starts his last over of the day with two dot balls. Tom Latham then picks one up off his legs and hits Wood over wide long-on for six!

Wood fires a quick short ball into the pitch and Latham pulls it to fine leg, Archer is the fielder and he throws the ball in sharply. Buttler catches it and almost runs out de Grandhomme.
Just one run off Wood's last three balls. Five overs to go.
