From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Fleetwood & Molinari (2UP) vs Woods & Reed
Ed Malyon:
Patrick Reed finding out the hard way that if your mouth writes cheques your golf can't cash, then the crowd are going to let you know about it. It's been a tough day for his thick skin.
Poulter & Rahm vs Spieth & Thomas (A/S)
An important putt to half from Poulter. Spieth hit a brilliant shot into the sixth that was never anything but a birdie. Poulter was further away but he's holed it to keep any red off the leaderboad.
Garcia & McIlroy (3UP) vs Koepka & Finau
Finally Koepka produces something at the par-5 ninth. McIlroy's third dribbled away to the left but the PGA Tour player of the year hits a nice bunker shot from the greenside bunker and follows it up. It's back to three at the turn.
Fleetwood & Molinari (1UP) vs Woods & Reed
And now Tiger claws away at the European lead too. He holes a long birdie putt at the seventh after Reed goes foraging once again. Planet Moliwood pegged back to one.
Casey & Hatton (3UP) vs Johnson & Fowler
Not if Tyrrell Hatton has something to say about it though. He holes a long birdie putt to push their lead over the struggling US pair to three after eight.
Fleetwood & Molinari (1UP) vs Woods & Reed
There's work to do on the green at the par-3 eighth and if anybody can hole one it should be good enough to win as we saw with Tyrrell Hatton's moments ago. Molinari comes very close but not this time. It's a slender lead.
Poulter & Rahm (1UP) vs Spieth & Thomas
This is even better than McIlroy's putt earlier. Ian Poulter is a long way from the hole at seven and it's an awkwardly sloping downhill putt. He claps it firmly and it rattles the bullseye. The magic man treats us to his signature banging of the chest. Europe now lead all four matches.
Poulter & Rahm (1UP) vs Spieth & Thomas
Enjoy it while it lasts. Jordan Spieth responds with the best tee-shot of the day at the par-3 eighth and has a very short birdie putt. Rahm's effort, cheered on by a solitary shout of 'vamos' has a chance but they'll likely be even again here.
Garcia & McIlroy (4UP) vs Koepka & Finau
And it's back to four! McIlroy goes through the back of the green at the par-3 eleventh and comes so close to chipping in. But then Sergio holes a brilliant putt. Finau is closer and should halve the hole but dribbles it on the low side. The rookie has really struggled for form in Paris.
