Your support makes all the difference.The 2018 Ryder Cup is underway and what a turnaround we've seen. The United States took the early lead with a dominant display in the morning but Europe bounced back in the afternoon foursomes.
The visitors at Le Golf National led 3-1 after the morning fourballs after Jordan Spieth, Brooks Koepka and Dustin Johnson all impressed on their way to victories over their European foes. But the hosts came roaring back in the afternoon taking all four matches to completely swing the contest and seize the momentum heading into Saturday

It all gets underway at 12.30pm on Friday morning with the opening fourballs.

Fleetwood, again! One of the signs of a great pairing is when they get each other out of trouble. Fleetwood’s drive goes so far left it’s practically in Roissy, Molinari plays a brilliant wedge to about 12 feet, and somehow the Americans contrive to three-putt from the front of the green.
This is turning into an absolute dream for the Europeans. They're 2,3,4 and 5 up and there's barely anything coming back at them. What a response.
Sergio Garcia & Alex Noren (6UP) vs Phil Mickelson & Bryson DeChambeau
Relentless.
Rory McIlroy & Ian Poulter (2UP) vs Bubba Watson & Webb Simpson
Rory McIlroy has had a shocker there. He's just shy of the green at ten and duffed his chip and it's rolled back into the bunker right next to him. Watson's second went over the back but they've been gifted an opportunity to bring it back to one here. It seems like forever since the US have won a hole.
Justin Rose & Henrik Stenson (5UP) vs Dustin Johnson & Rickie Fowler
Johnson has missed an absolute tiddler to half at eleven.
And now Watsons misses a short putt for the hole at ten too.
This is getting ridiculous.

Tiger Woods in a buggy following the Spieth/Thomas match - not at the wheel, you’ll be relieved to know. He looks terrible. And sounds it too: coughing away like he can barely get his breath, glistening with feverish sweat. He’s suffering. Meanwhile, Thomas has lost a spike from his shoe, which is causing him some minor irritation walking. Are the spikes coming off for the United States?
Rory McIlroy & Ian Poulter (1UP) vs Bubba Watson & Webb Simpson
It's not so smiley from Poulter anymore. He's hit a great tee-shot at the par-3 eleventh but after the chants of 'Rory, Rory' ring out the crowd's man misses. Meanwhile Watson's tee-shot was even better and it's a simple tap-in. It's back to one and finally the American's have something to cheer. Can that change the momentum out there?

Tommy Fleetwood has actually missed at putt at the par-3 eighth after a wayward tee shot from Molinari. They're back to two.
Sergio Garcia & Alex Noren (7UP) vs Phil Mickelson & Bryson DeChambeau
There won't be any comeback in this one though. It's embarrassing for Mickelson and DeChambeau who exchange bad shots. This could well be the worst foursomes defeat in Ryder Cup history.
Alex Noren has pulled into the water on ten though so perhaps the Californians can extend the torture a little longer.
