Liverpool were winners back in 2020 ending a 30-year wait for league glory and Jurgen Klopp is sure to have them back challenging again at the sharp end this season too while Manchester United will be looking to be back in the title picture with Cristiano Ronaldo returning to his former club in the summer.
It's not all about the action at the top though with Norwich, Watford and Brentford promoted to the top tier for 2020/21 and hoping to hold their own against the best English football has to offer and avoid the drop.

Weghorst's goal, by the way, was only his second in the Premier League, but it could be a crucial one. Burnley don't score many, but they know how to defend a lead. They've only lost two of the nine league games this season in which they've scored the opening goal.

Now West Ham get another corner of their own as Antonio's shot is blocked. Bowen takes this one. It isn't the best. The Englishman promptly loses the ball as it comes back to him, and Dawson slides in to prevent Cornet bursting down the left.

Fabianski makes a routine catch from a cross into the box. Burnley now have a lead to hold onto and a teammate to fight for. It could be quite a potent combination.

West Ham sportingly give the ball to Burnley, who win a free-kick in the hosts' half. Taylor's delivery comes in. After a few loose headers it's flicked towards goal by Rodriguez on the turn. Burnley get a corner out of it.
