West Ham United vs Brighton & Hove Albion
It is all fairly one-way traffic still in this Premier League encounter. Brighton enjoyed over 70 per cent possession throughout the opening stages and have shown no signs of slowing down. The question for De Zerbi is as to whether his men can move the ball quicker to get at Areola's goal.

Johnson speeds onto a long ball in behind from Alvarez, outpacing Milner before Steele comes out of his area to chest away. A belated offside flag proves the move redundant, anywho.

Joao Pedro twists onto his left foot down the flank but his chipped cross is headed away by Bowen in front of Hinshelwood. Brighton are upping the pressure at present, though West Ham are not buckling under the persistent challenge.
West Ham United vs Brighton & Hove Albion
The home crowd inside London Stadium may not stay patient with this game for too long if it carries on in the same pattern. Brighton appear the more well-drilled and comfortable in possession, although Moyes will fancy his chances of success on the counter-attack through Bowen.

West Ham United vs Brighton & Hove Albion
Bowen bursts down the left-hand inside channel but his delicate dink towards the near post is easy for Steele to claim. The England international has little support up top when he does eventually get running forward.
West Ham United vs Brighton & Hove Albion
This is death by a thousand passes for West Ham at the moment, with Moyes' men unable to get anywhere near their opponents. De Zerbi's side are moving the ball about with ease but need to inject some pace into their play if they are to test Areola.
West Ham United vs Brighton & Hove Albion
Steele offers the away side an early scare as the Brighton goalkeeper is slow to clear when Bowen races towards him to block a long clearance. It has been a slow start to this clash at London Stadium.
West Ham United vs Brighton & Hove Albion
West Ham are sitting in a 4-1-4-1 formation out of possession, with Alvarez holding and Bowen as the lone striker. Their defensive shape is good, but the Hammers are simply chasing shadows at present as Brighton pass, pass and pass again.
