It was the Blues whose transfer dealings stole the headlines on Friday as Cesc Fabregas’ long-awaited move to Monaco was finally completed. The Spanish midfielder, who made 501 appearances in England football winning two Premier League titles and two FA Cups, joins Thierry Henry’s struggling French side on a three-and-a-half year contract.
However, before the move was confirmed, it was Maurizio Sarri who stole the limelight after the Chelsea manager took aim at Bayern Munich over their approach for 18-year-old Callum Hudson-Odoi. Sarri claimed the German champions have shown no respect for Chelsea after Munich’s sporting director, Hasan Salihamidzic, stated publicly that he “really wants to sign” the English starlet.

Meanwhile, United could finally land long-term reported target Ivan Perisic as Inter Milan look to raise money to fund a move for Luka Modric, The Sun reports.
The paper says a report in the Italian media indicates the Nerazzurri may look to sell Perisic in order to bring his Croatia team-mate Modric to Italy.
Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham is wanted by Crystal Palace after he snubbed a loan switch to Wolves, according to the Daily Mirror.
The 21-year-old has impressed after netting 16 times in 20 appearances on loan at Aston Villa, with Palace in need of firepower up front.

The Old Lady are apparently holding out for bids in excess of £90m.
Arsenal have apparently failed with an initial £35m bid for Roma wonderkid Cengiz Under.
The Gunners are said to be keen on the 21-year-old Turkey winger but the Daily Star report they aren't planning on improving that offer. Yet.
Well this is a cat amongst the Championship pigeons.
Derby have confirmed that police have been called in after a 'spy' working for Leeds United was rumbled observing a training session before the Rams' Championship clash with the Yorkshire club tonight.
An individual using binoculars was reportedly spotted trying to watch a training session of Frank Lampard's side when the authorities were called and Derby have since been able to confirm that the man observing training was on the staff at Leeds.

Back to Italy where Milan could be willing to let Franck Kessie move to the Premier League.
The 24-year-old is being tracked by a number of clubs including Chelsea and Tottenham.
And Calciomercato report that Milan would be willing to sell for around £40m.
Time to put an earlier transfer rumour to bed.
It appears Chelsea have no interest in letting Willian leave for Barcelona this month.
Cesc Fabregas, however, can leave as long as a replacement is found.
Liverpool youngster Rafael Camacho is being linked with a loan move to former club Sporting until the end of the season.
The 18-year-old winger could return to his native Portugal on a temporary basis as Liverpool want him to gain more first-team experience.
However Jurgen Klopp says he has no interest in letting him leave for Sporting.
