Neymar has already smashed the world transfer record by swapping Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain but many closer to home could follow him in big money transfers with speculation about the futures of Philippe Coutinho, Alexis Sanchez and more refusing to go away.
Manchester City have been the summer's biggest spenders splashing over £200m on new arrivals but Pep Guardiola isn't stopping there with Jonny Evans eyed to plug what still looks to be a hole in the centre of their defence.
Crosstown rivals United have been busy too and still want more despite adding Romelu Lukaku, Nemanja Matic and Victor Lindelof with Jose Mourinho keen on an attacking wide player and a new full back.
Liverpool have struggled to get deals over the line and could still lose Coutinho while Chelsea need bodies as Antonio Conte battles with an injury and suspension crisis with the Premier League champions.

Paulinho is ready to meet the challenges facing Barcelona this season "with courage" after moving to the Nou Camp for £36.3million.
The Catalan giants appear to be on somewhat shaky ground ahead of the new LaLiga campaign, which for Barca starts against Real Betis on Sunday afternoon.
The shock sale of Neymar to Paris St Germain has shorn Barca of a world-class talent and they are yet to find a replacement, with reportedly advanced negotiations for Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele not yet complete.
But amid the uncertainty Paulinho - the 29-year-old former Tottenham midfielder - has arrived following two years with Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande, and he is eager to play a stabilising role.
Speaking at his Nou Camp unveiling on Thursday, he said: "You have to face challenges with courage. I will try to do my job and I am prepared.
"Coming here is a dream. It's a very satisfying moment. I will give everything."
Paul Clement says Swansea have "multiple targets" as they plan to use the Gylfi Sigurdsson transfer cash by signing two or three players.
"I spoke to the owners (Steve Kaplan and Jason Levien) last night and what we will do moving forward," he said.
"We have received a good transfer fee and funds are available to strengthen the squad.
"It is a big challenge replacing Gylfi, but I hope we can potentially bring in two or three players to strengthen us in various positions.
"I am not going to talk about players at other clubs, but there are discussions behind the scenes with the owners, the chairman and our recruitment team who we can potentially bring in before the window is over.
"We have multiple targets because things do not always come off, you have to move to other players in that situation.
"We have to move swiftly, but we will not panic. Sometimes the deals can be better in the last days of the window."
Southampton are understood to be closing in on the capture of Holland defender Wesley Hoedt from Lazio.
Saints boss Mauricio Pellegrino has refused to rule out a deal for the 23-year-old, while the St Mary's outfit are understood to have lodged a £15.5million bid for the four-cap centre-back.
Southampton continue to insist they can retain wantaway defender Virgil van Dijk, despite the Dutchman continuing to agitate for a move to Liverpool.
When quizzed on Hoedt, Pellegrino replied: "I know the player but I will not talk about the market because when you talk about it, a negotiation isn't 80 per cent or 90 per cent, the negotiation is either 100 per cent or zero per cent.
"When he signs, a player is then for you (to talk about), but before that I have nothing to say."
West Ham manager Slaven Bilic remains hopeful of signing Portugal midfielder William Carvalho.
Bilic wants to make Carvalho his sixth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Joe Hart, Pablo Zabaleta, Marko Arnautovic, Javier Hernandez and Sead Haksabanovic.
However, Carvalho's current club Sporting Lisbon are reportedly holding out for £40million for the 25-year-old.
Carvalho is understood to be keen on the move, though, and Bilic says Hammers joint-chairman David Sullivan is still on the case.
Bilic said: "I left it to the chairman and the people who are involved. I am concentrating only and totally on our (next) game.
"We will see what happens with ins and outs. It's becoming very busy at other clubs too."
