From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Chelsea slipped 10 points behind Manchester City in the Premier League title race after a shock defeat at feisty Wolves.

The hosts ended a two-month wait for a win with quickfire second-half goals from Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota clinching a 2-1 victory.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek's deflected strike opened the scoring for the Blues but they now sit fourth to seriously trail leaders City. PA

What time does it start?

Wolves vs Chelsea kicks off at 19:45 (GMT) on Wednesday December

Where can I watch?

Wolves vs Chelsea will not be televised, but you can follow the action live on IndySport’s live blog.

Player to watch:

Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The midfielder has struggled for game time this season, but he has seized the rare opportunities he’s been given, including a goal off the bench against Fulham on Sunday. It wouldn’t be a surprise if he’s given a start in this game given the run of midweek matches over the Christmas period, and he will be looking to prove he can produce from the start.

Prediction:

Chelsea to win 3-1

Manchester United 1-1 Arsenal, 66 minutes

There's something in the air at Old Trafford tonight.

Shkodran Mustafi is the latest walking wounded. Arsenal out of substitutions, of course, so he'll have to soldier on.

Harry Latham-Coyle5 December 2018 21:25

Burnley 1-2 Liverpool, 83 minutes

A clever back heel from Naby Keita nearly extends Liverpool's lead, but Phil Bardsley is well-placed on the line to block.

GOAL! Manchester United 1-2 Arsenal (Alexandre Lacazette, 68 minutes)

An error from Marcos Rojo, giving the ball away in his own half, and Alexandre Lacazette exchanges passes with Henrikh Mkhitaryan before surging through on goal.

Rojo recovers to try to hook the ball away from the Frenchman, but only succeeds in cannoning the ball against his shin and past the onrushing David De Gea.

But hold on...

GOAL! Manchester United 2-2 Arsenal (Jesse Lingard, 69 minutes)

Straight from kick off, Manchester United are once again level!

A Sead Kolasinac error, Arsenal scrambling and unable to prevent Jesse Lingard slotting between Bernd Leno's legs.

Arsenal can't hold a lead.

Manchester United 2-2 Arsenal, 72 minutes

Two excellent chances for Arsenal as both Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan fail to find a finish.

Marouane Fellaini replaces Marcos Rojo. This game could go anywhere.

Manchester United 2-2 Arsenal, 74 minutes

There's so much space out there now.

Marcus Rashford wastes an opportunity to play in Romelu Lukaku as the home side force a three-on-two, before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang forces David De Gea into a diving save.

Here comes Paul Pogba...

Jesse Lingard goes off.

GOAL! Burnley 1-3 Liverpool (Xherdan Shaqiri, 90 + 2 minutes)

Mohamed Salah to Xherdan Shaqiri, who seals victory for Liverpool.

After going 1-0 behind Jurgen Klopp will be pleased with his team's response. Another victory.

Harry Latham-Coyle5 December 2018 21:35

Full time at Craven Cottage. Denis Odoi had a superb late chance for Fulham but could only fire over, and thus Leicester take a point back to the Midlands with them. 1-1.

Harry Latham-Coyle5 December 2018 21:37

A superb home win for Wolves, shocking Chelsea 2-1 at Molineux thanks to goals from Raul Jimenez and Jota.

Harry Latham-Coyle5 December 2018 21:38

The full time whistle blows at Turf Moor. Burnley took the lead, but James Milner and Roberto Firmino scored to turn it around before Xherdan Shaqiri added the glossy finish in stoppage time. 3-1 to Liverpool.
