From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.West Ham have a tough task this afternoon as they look to secure their Premier League future against champions Manchester City.
The Hammers currently sit 15th, six points clear of the relegation zone but could all-but secure their future with a victory, but it could admittedly be difficult against Guardiola’s men.
Elsewhere, the recently-crowned champions will be highly-motivated to earn maximum points as their quest to break the Premier League points record edges closer to completion.

What time is it?
The game kicks off at 2:15pm on Sunday.
Where can I see it?
The match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Premier League.
It’s a big game for…
David Moyes. If the Hammers do earn the win, it would mean quite the impact at the London Stadium by the Scot. A victory could pretty much mean survival.
Having said that, a loss could potentially put the Hammers back in a perilous position. The Londoners could potentially be only three points clear of the drop zone by the end of play at the weekend. Whilst their future would still be in their own hands, it would make for an uncomfortable last few weeks of the season.
The best stat…
Manchester City have won their last two away games against West Ham United by an aggregate scoreline of 9-0.
The Citizens won 4-0 in their first trip to London Stadium in 2017. They netted five in their last visit to the Boleyn Ground.
Remember when…
Jack Collison earned West Ham a tight 1-0 victory over City at the Boleyn Ground back in 2009.
Player to watch…
Raheem Sterling. Slightly unfortunate to have missed out on the PFA Young Player of the Year Award, Sterling has been brilliant all season long. He has notched a career-best haul of 23 goals in all competitions and has been one of the catalysts behind Manchester City’s procession to the title.
He has been involved in six goals in his last five Premier League games with three strikes of his own and three assists. The winger also had a hand in five goals in three appearances against West Ham last season.

"You fool!"
There's not many kind words for the Sky Sports studio for Granit Xhaka. The Arsenal forward dived in as Paul Pogba skipped past him then failed to track his run as he scored.
Thierry Henry: "It's just not good enough for me. Come back and do something, follow him. That reaction I don't understand."
Graeme Souness: "What you try to do is not commit. Don't sell yourself as simple as that. It's kid on football, that guys 25 years old.
"He's cost them that goal, they've been neat and tidy. Nobody's pointing they're finger saying 'don't you do that, you fool!'"
49: Konstantinos Mavropanos leaves a late tackle on Romelu Lukaku and he has to come off. Marcus Rashford comes on as Lukaku limps down the tunnel.
Manchester United 1-1 Arsenal
Henrikh Mkhitaryan scores!
Arsenal win the ball high up the pitch and Henrikh Mkhitaryan has a bit of space on the edge of the area. The ball sets nicely for the former Manchester United player and he guides the it into the bottom corner with expert precision that leaves no chance for David De Gea.
52: Quick response
Antonio Valencia's cross is at the back post by Ashley Young who volleys a goal-bound effort which is deflected for a corner. Manchester United have upped the tempo, where have they been hiding this intensity?
Romelu Lukaku limps off after being on the end of Konstantinos Mavropanos' strong challenge
