From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

(Odds provided by Bet 888)
86 min: McAuley pumps a long ball forward in search of Robson-Kanu but Matip asserts himself well to nod the danger clear. It's been an impressive afternoon of football from him.
90 min: West Brom corner. Four minutes of stoppage time. This game isn't over yet...
91 min: It's whipped in with menace but Can gets to it first and the danger is cleared.
92 min: Foster came forward for another corner but Liverpool were quick to snatch possession and immediately charged forward towards an open goal. From 45 yards out, Moreno went for goal, ignoring his team-mates on either side of him, but was unable to find the target to the visible frustration of Klopp on the sidelines. Foolish decision making that.
FULL TIME: West Brom 0-1 Liverpool
What an ending to the game. Foster spent the last minute inside Liverpool's own final third, despite the fact it was open play. Twice Liverpool got hold of possession and attempted to charge forward but were stopped in their tracks by the West Brom defence. Even so, Foster's audacity wasn't enough to help the home side grab a late equaliser and Liverpool leave The Hawthorns with an important three points.
