Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Saturday's final game sees Tottenham host Everton in a game that both teams desperately need to win.
Mauricio Pochettino's men are in need of all three points as they look to keep pace in the race for the top four while Sam Allardyce's side cannot afford to get complacent at the other end of the league despite a positive recent run of form.

15' - Close!
Spurs are awarded a free-kick on the edge of the box after a foul on Dele Alli by Idrissa Gueye. Christian Eriksen takes it but Son Heung-min puts his header just wide of the far post.
16' - Wayne Rooney gets on the end of Cenk Tosun's smart knockdown but the Everton No10 drags his shot wide of Hugo Lloris' far post from the edge of the area.
23' - Wayne Rooney has the ball in the net for Everton... but the linesman flag correctly goes up.
At the other end of the pitch Harry Kane has a couple of shots but Jordan Pickford keeps both of them out fairly comfortably.
GOAL! Spurs 1-0 Everton (Son)
26' - The unmarked Serge Aurier receives the ball from Christian Eriksen on the right wing before drilling the ball across the face of goal and Son Heung-min is on hand to slot home from just six yards out.
That was so easy for Spurs - too easy, you probably have to say.
32' - Cenk Tosun gets on the end of Jonjoe Kenny's cross but the ball is a little too high for the Everton new boy and his header loops over the bar.
39' - Everton may be losing but they've not been outplayed here. Sam Allardyce will be pleased with the performance of new boy Cenk Tosun, who has shown a few glimpses of real quality in the first half.
