From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Saturday's final game sees Tottenham host Everton in a game that both teams desperately need to win.

Mauricio Pochettino's men are in need of all three points as they look to keep pace in the race for the top four while Sam Allardyce's side cannot afford to get complacent at the other end of the league despite a positive recent run of form.

We will have all the latest updates from Wembley right here.

Pre-match quotes from Sam Allardyce

On the need for Everton to improve on their away form: "It was a poor 2017. We managed to get the win at Newcastle and draws against West Brom and Liverpool so we want to improve on that. Today is a really tough game as we know. Spurs are playing very well so we expect a tough game and will do our very best to get a result. A point would be satisfying."

On naming Cenk Tosun in the Toffees' starting line-up: "It's a brave decision by me throwing him in at the deep end. It's his dream come true to play in the Premier League. Hopefully he can impress today. If he doesn't that will be more my fault than his. It'll be much more demanding than he thinks it will be. We'll see how he goes on."
