The battle for seventh place and potential Europa League football sees Watford host Wolves at Vicarage Road, with the victor set to surge ahead as favourites to finish as ‘best of the rest’ in the Premier League.

Crystal Palace are looking to build on their victory over Arsenal last time out as they welcome Everton to Selhurst Park, while a big day in the relegation battle sees Cardiff City travel to Fulham – with Brighton and Hove Albion taking on Newcastle United in the day’s late game. Southampton meanwhile take on fellow south coast side Bournemouth. Follow the live action below.

Premier League fixtures

Tottenham 0-1 West Ham

Crystal Palace vs Everton – 3pm

Fulham vs Cardiff City – 3pm

Southampton vs Bournemouth – 3pm

Watford vs Wolves – 3pm

Brighton vs Newcastle United – 5:30pm

A third successive win for Fulham, and that means if Brighton win tonight then Cardiff will be all but down with a considerable goal difference deficit.

Southampton's point in a six-goal thriller at St Mary's mathematically secures their safety.

Wolves move four points clear in the race for seventh as their striking duo both score to down Watford.

And Everton fail to gain more than a point from a bit of a stinker at Selhurst Park, keeping them from asserting themselves in that battle.

Right. To the Amex.

Fulham's win will hearten Chris Hughton's side, knowing three points will almost certainly be enough.

And against a Newcastle side with nothing to play for a missing a couple of key men, it is a wonderful opportunity to secure their place in the Premier League.

Kick-off is less than half-an-hour away.

Team News

A reminder of the team news for you.

No Davy Propper for Brighton, who start Florin Andone AND Glenn Murray in an attack-minded side.

Newcastle are without Jamaal Lascelles, illness robbing Rafa Benitez of his captain, while we won't sight Miguel Almiron again this season after his hamstring injury. Isaac Hayden and Fabian Schar are both fit, however, after knocks last weekend.

Brighton XI: Mathew Ryan; Bruno, Shane Duffy, Lewis Dunk, Bernardo; Pascal Groß, Dale Stephens, Beram Kayal, Jose Izquierdo; Glenn Murray, Florin Andone

Newcastle XI: Martin Dubravka; Javier Manquillo, Fabian Schar, Federico Fernandez, Paul Dummett, Matt Ritchie; Isaac Hayden, Jonjo Shelvey; Ayoze Perez, Christian Atsu, Salomon Rondon

We're thinking it may be a 4-4-2 for Brighton, Florin Andone and Glenn Murray as a two with Pascal Groß and Jose Izquierdo supporting from wider.Chris Hughton has also opted to bring back captain Bruno to the starting lineup to provide some steely experience at right-back.

Newcastle have settled into their five in the last few months. Three personnel changes from their last outing, including the injection of the enigmatic Jonjo Shelvey into the midfield.

Ten minutes to go until kick-off at a brightening Amex Stadium.

The weather matching the Brighton mood. A huge opportunity for Chris Hughton's charges.

The players are in the tunnel.

Mike Dean is our referee this evening.

With Jonjo Shelvey captaining the Newcastle side, there could be some fun...

Both managers have gone for three-piece suits. Classy.

The home fans are in fine voice, perhaps spurred on by the Cardiff result.

Just about ready to go...

Underway.
