Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Manchester City have the chance to wrap up the Premier League title earlier than any top-flight champion before them, with the added bonus of doing so against their fierce rivals Manchester United.

Pep Guardiola’s side will guarantee their second trophy of the season if they beat United, having already secured the EFL Cup in February, but will hope that they do not suffer a repeat performance of the 3-0 hammering they suffered at the hands of Liverpool in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Sergio Aguero returns to the bench, with Guardiola rotating his side slightly with one eye on the Champions League quarter-final second leg next Tuesday, while United manager Jose Mourinho is able to select from a squad that is nearly at full fitness with only Sergio Romero and Daley Blind unlikely to feature.

What time does it start?

Where can I watch it?

Post-match reaction from Pep Guardiola

"We did absolutely everything. The qualities of the players from United can do the actions that they've done.

"It's OK. We're a bit sad for our people, especially to try to arrive in a good mood for next Tuesday.

"They found their game. They didn't think many, many things. This is Man United. We have done everything to win the game."

Those quotes from Guardiola conclude our coverage of today's incredible Manchester derby.

City will have to wait a little while longer to be crowned champions but today belongs to United after an incredible Paul Pogba-inspired comeback.

Goodnight!
