Your support helps us to tell the story
My recent work focusing on Latino voters in Arizona has shown me how crucial independent journalism is in giving voice to underrepresented communities.
Your support is what allows us to tell these stories, bringing attention to the issues that are often overlooked. Without your contributions, these voices might not be heard.
Every dollar you give helps us continue to shine a light on these critical issues in the run up to the election and beyond

It’s a big game for…
Patrick van Aanholt: The Dutchman delivered a poor performance against Wolves, giving the ball away cheaply at times and he was beaten far too easily by Matt Doherty’s movement for the goal. With the likes of Theo Walcott, Bernard and Richarlison providing both pace and excellent movement up front, Roy Hodgson will hope his limited exertions with the Netherlands have given him sufficient time to come back refreshed.
Best stat…
7: Gylfi Sigurdsson has contributed to seven goals in his last six Premier League starts against Crystal Palace. The 29-year-old Icelandic midfielder has scored three goals and registered four assists in that time against the London club.
Player to watch…
Bernard: The Brazilian has had to bide his time at Goodison Park, making just one substitute appearance in his first month on Merseyside. However, the former Shakhtar Donetsk winger was superb against Leicester, setting up Richarlison for Everton’s opener after jinking past two defenders, while showing similar skill on various other occasions. Bernard did not shy away from his defensive duties either, and those are ominous signs for Palace as the summer signing’s confidence increases.

24 minutes
Much to his amazement, Palace centre-back Tomkins is penalised for a foul on Richarlison after the two players went up for a header. The free kick comes to nothing.
26 minutes
Zaha breaks away well after a spell of possession for Everton. Tomkins plays an excellent pass out to Schlupp. A mis-hit effort from Luka Milivojevic is cleared.
28 minutes
Biggest chance of the afternoon so far. Coleman pulls the ball back to Sigurdsson who forces Hennessey into a good save at his near post. The resulting corner comes to nothing.
29 minutes
Gueye is booked for Everton after bringing down Zaha as Palace look to counter.
30 minutes
Another foul against Zaha. This time it's Gueye's midfield partner Andre Gomes who brings him down. The Ivorian striker isn't happy with something Bernard has said. The referee speaks to both. No yellow cards issued on this occasion.
31 minutes
The free-kick comes to nothing. The ball is pumped back in towards Zaha who is judged to have fouled Digne. The Everton fans aren't happy with the Palace striker.
32 minutes
Big chance for Palace. The away side take a short corner and Townsend clips the ball towards Tomkins who can only head wide. Better from the away side.
34 minutes
Bernard moves infield and finds space between the Palace midfield and defence. Sigurdsson lashes over a volley from about 25 yards out.
35 minutes
Zaha wins yet another free-kick. It's an unnecessary challenge from Zouma. This is about 35 yards out.
35 minutes
Milivojevic takes and forces Pickford into a comfortable save. Corner.
