Your support makes all the difference.Liverpool have gone top of the Premier League, albeit until Manchester City player in Saturday's evening game, after a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Bournemouth in which Mohamed Salah returned to his very best with a hat-trick.
There was plenty of debate over the opening goal as Salah looked to be offside when he sprinted to reach a poor Asmir Begovic parry that allowed the Egyptian to calmly stroke the ball home from the centre of the box. Bournemouth made it through to half-time without conceding, but afterwards Liverpool turned on the style.
Salah added his second soon after the resumption before Bournemouth defender Steve Cook somehow turned the ball into his own net from a difficult angle, and there was enough time for Salah to add a late third to secure Liverpool's fifth consecutive victory in the league . Player to watch
Virgil van Dijk: Despite Jurgen Klopp’s side’s diverse attacking threats, it has been the imperious Dutchman who has vastly improved Liverpool’s defence. He brilliantly created a second for Roberto Firmino against Burnley and could have scored himself, but it is at the other end where the former Southampton man will have to be at his best, with Callum Wilson in excellent form.

Prediction
Bournemouth 1-2 Liverpool: A nervy win could be in store for Jurgen Klopp's side
43 minutes
A peculiar slice from James Milner bounces on the edge of the area and Alisson has decided to come for it.
There is no argument that it is a back pass yet the big Brazilian opts to use his head, rising high to power above Josh King, inadvertently bringing his knee into the side of the striker's head.
Lee Mason whistles proceedings to a halt so King can receive treatment, and he is fortunately fine to continue.
45 minutes
Two additional minutes at the end of an entertaining half of football.
There is the half time whistle. Mohamed Salah's goal gives Liverpool a 1-0 lead they richly deserved after an excellent first half-an-hour, though Bournemouth have come into the game towards the end of the first 45 minutes.
Could Bournemouth be doing more to get their star man involved?
Without Callum Wilson, Eddie Howe gambled on utilising Ryan Fraser in behind Josh King and the dynamic Scotsman hasn't been able to influence the game as much as Howe would have liked.
Perhaps a change in formation or personnel to move Fraser to his preferred position on the left wing? James Milner hasn't really been tested by Junior Stanislas so far.

It appears the rain may have ceased, though judging by the items strewn across the Vitality Stadium pitch the wind has picked up.
The same shape for Bournemouth.
GOAL! Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool (Mohamed Salah, 48 minutes)
A second for Salah!
An underhit pass by Simon Francis allows Liverpool the chance to break, and the ball is swiftly at Mohamed Salah's feet.
It is good play by the Egyptian, driving at the defence. Steve Cook clips his heels but Salah doggedly carries on, taking the ball away from Nathan Ake and firing his shot in across Asmir Begovic.
A significant deflection of the Dutch defender leaves Begovic helpless and the ball trickles into the bottom corner to his left.
That may seal it for Liverpool.
51 minutes
A penalty appeal from the hosts, with the ball ricocheting around the Liverpool six yard box to Junior Stanislas.
Lee Mason says no.
52 minutes
Charlie Daniels powers in a low cross that Virgil Van Djik inexplicably lets run, and he and the onrushing Alisson are fortunate that Josh King is caught in two minds, lifting the ball over the Brazilian goalkeeper but seeing it bounce well wide of the vacant goal.
Half-hearted penalty appeals again from the Bournemouth players.
