Your support makes all the difference.Liverpool have gone top of the Premier League, albeit until Manchester City player in Saturday's evening game, after a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Bournemouth in which Mohamed Salah returned to his very best with a hat-trick.
There was plenty of debate over the opening goal as Salah looked to be offside when he sprinted to reach a poor Asmir Begovic parry that allowed the Egyptian to calmly stroke the ball home from the centre of the box. Bournemouth made it through to half-time without conceding, but afterwards Liverpool turned on the style.
Salah added his second soon after the resumption before Bournemouth defender Steve Cook somehow turned the ball into his own net from a difficult angle, and there was enough time for Salah to add a late third to secure Liverpool's fifth consecutive victory in the league . Player to watch
Virgil van Dijk: Despite Jurgen Klopp’s side’s diverse attacking threats, it has been the imperious Dutchman who has vastly improved Liverpool’s defence. He brilliantly created a second for Roberto Firmino against Burnley and could have scored himself, but it is at the other end where the former Southampton man will have to be at his best, with Callum Wilson in excellent form.

11 minutes
The Bournemouth crowd are incensed as Mohamed Salah escapes the offside flag when Fabinho lofts a ball down the middle, but Salah is onside and knocks the slightly underhit pass back to Roberto Firmino.
Firming's chipped through ball is blocked by the arm of Nathan Ake, conceding a free kick in a rather perilous position...
13 minutes
Xherdan Shaqiri menacingly glares at the ball as he charges towards it, but his free kick kisses the head of Charlie Daniels and flies out for a Liverpool corner, which Bournemouth deal with effectively.
14 minutes
Chance.
Shaqiri clips a gorgeous pass onto the toe of Mohamed Salah, who slightly miscontrols it and takes it onto his weaker right side.
Sliced wide.
15 minutes
Another Bournemouth booking, combative Colombian Jefferson Lerma into the book for a bit of a lunge on Fabinho.
16 minutes
Good tracking from Ryan Fraser to dispossess Georginio Wijnaldum and spark a counter attack opportunity, but Josh King wastes the potential opportunity, failing to find a teammate inside after a slightly errant Jefferson Lerma pass drags him wide to the left wing.
Three-quarters of the early possession to Liverpool, but few clear sightings of goal. Bournemouth organised so far.
18 minutes
Driving play down the left from Andrew Robertson but he can't beat Simon Francis comprehensively, and his cross ricochets back off the Scotsman and out for a goal kick.
19 minutes
Mohamed Salah is a prevalent threat in beyond the Bournemouth backline and latches onto another well-directed pass.
He feeds Fabinho but the Brazilian's effort ends up corner flag bound after a sizeable deflection, though it wasn't the prettiest either way.
20 minutes
More incision from Liverpool.
Andrew Robertson is free on the left and well found by Xherdan Shaqiri dropping deeper.
Robertson's first time volleyed cross is just about smothered clear by Asmir Begovic, and Bournemouth concede and subsequently deal with another Liverpool corner.
21 minutes
Joshua King has cut a largely isolated figure so far but shows his ability with the ball at his feet, powering past Fabinho and unfurling a snap-shot.
He doesn't catch it cleanly and Alisson safely watches the ball past his right-hand upright.
22 minutes
More good play from Bournemouth.
A clever reverse pass from Junior Stanislas makes its way through to David Brooks making an excellent run, and Brooks' early shot tests Alisson's ability to cover his near post.
The Brazilian safely palms it behind and, though the corner comes to nothing, Eddie Howe will be pleased with his team's growth into the game.
