The Gunners went ahead against the Magpies through Alexandre Lacazette but goals from Ayoze Perez and Matt Ritchie flipped the game on its head, leaving the Gunners all-but consigned to Europa League football.
Meanwhile, David Moyes’ Hammers will be aiming to build on their late draw with Stoke City on Monday evening in their fight for survival.

It’s a big game for…
Arsene Wenger. The Gunners have been disappointing this season and the Frenchman has earned particular criticism.
A win against West Ham is vital, especially with Burnley breathing down Arsenal’s neck in seventh. If they lose this game, his time at the Emirates may well and truly be over.
Best stat…
Arsenal have dropped 14 points from winning positions away from home in the Premier League this season – the most in the entire league. West Ham have dropped 11.
Player to watch…
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Gabon striker has been in excellent form since arriving at the Emirates. He has had a hand in eight goals in his opening eight games with six strikes and two assists.

West Ham: LLLWDD
Odds…
Arsenal: 4/7
West Ham: 21/4
Draw: 19/5
8: A great ball from Xhaka finds Monreal who charges forward and wins another corner. This time, Koscielny meets Xhaka's cross and heads just wide. The defender gets up really early and directs an effort just past the post, Hart was rooted to the spot there.
11: Nice opening for West Ham. Arnautovic holds the ball up and draws Koscielny away from his defensive role. He then lays the ball to Joao Mario who plays a first time pass to Fernandes who is through but can't quite get the ball under control and Ospina collects.
Stoke 1-0 Burnley
Badou Ndiaye gives Stoke a vital lead against Burnley.
Good save!
14: After being played through on goal just moments ago, Marco Arnautovic is playing in the clear again. He cuts inside onto his right foot, and tries to curl an effort around David Ospina but the goalkeeper reads his intentions to spread himself to produce a good save.
Bar!
16: Another good chance for West Ham is missed. From a corner, Cheikhou Kouyate rises highest and heads up and onto the crossbar. Nobody in a red shirt took command of that situation and the Kouyate might feel he could have done better.
21: West Ham are playing early long balls forward to Marco Arnautovic with good effect. Another pass evades the Arsenal midfield and the forward collects the ball in the vacant right channel. Arnautovic holds the ball up then lays it to Edimilson Fernandes who blasts a volley well over.
Chance for Arsenal
23: Mohamed Elneny's pass into the box finds Danny Welbeck who lays the ball back to Hector Bellerin. The right back tries a first time effort from the edge of the area but his side footed shot goes well over. He won't be adding to his personal best three goals this season like that.
25: Danny Welbeck is urged to shoot by the fans and obliges. He cuts inside from the left wing and blasts a low effort just wide of Joe Hart's far post.
