Follow for live reaction after Manchester City moved four points clear at the top of the Premier League table as they produced a commanding performance to thrash Leeds United 7-0 at the Etihad Stadium.

Phil Foden struck City in front after eight minutes with a bobbled shot from outside of the box that Leeds defender Stuart Dallas was unable to clear off the line. Jack Grealish then ended his 10-match run without a goal as he headed in Riyad Mahrez’s cross to put City two up inside 13 minutes, before Kevin De Bruyne made it three shortly after the half-hour mark.

City picked up where they left off after half-time as Mahrez’s deflected effort made it four, before De Bruyne thundered in a fifth from outside of the box. John Stones and Nathan Ake then got in on the act as Leeds fell apart. Follow all the reaction to a brilliant City performance below:

Man City 3 - 0 Leeds

45 mins: Three minutes of added time to play at the end of the first half. Manchester City have slackened off a bit and Leeds are now seeing more of the ball. If they can score before the break they may yet find a way back into the match.

Man City 3 - 0 Leeds

41 mins: Close! Leeds are struggling to keep up with Man City’s movement. Bernardo weaves his way out to the right side and lays the ball off to De Bruyne. He carries the ball back towards the box before slotting it to Foden just inside the area. Foden sends a shot back across goal, feeding it through the legs of Ayling and narrowly sends it wide of the back post!

Man City 3 - 0 Leeds

38 mins: Not what Marcelo Bielsa needed. Jamie Shackleton goes down with what seems to be a pulled hamstring. He limps off the pitch with the aid of the physios and is replaced with Mateusz Klich.

GOAL! Man City 3 - 0 Leeds (De Bruyne, 32’)⚽️

32 mins: Three now! Man City are devastating when they’re in this kind of mood. This is fantastic stuff from Kevin De Bruyne. Ruben Dias passes the ball up to Phil Foden who gives it to Rodri. De Bruyne then makes a great run off the ball, getting in behind Adam Forshaw and cutting in between Diego Llorente and Stuart Dallas to receive the ball in the box. He glances at goal and guides a powerful shot past Illan Meslier to finish off a slick move from City.

Man City 2 - 0 Leeds

30 mins: Raphinha gets into a tussle with Oleksandr Zinchenko as the ball comes bouncing towards the Manchester City box. It strikes Zinchenko on the arm and Raphinha widly appeals for a penalty. VAR takes a look but nothing comes of the incident.

Leeds are yet to have a shot at goal, Man City in contrast have had 10.

Man City 2 - 0 Leeds

27 mins: Chance! Leeds defend the corner well enough but as has been the case for most of the match the home side regain the ball from the clearance. They threaten the box on the left wing before Grealish passes the ball to Bernardo. He gives it to De Bruyne who shoots from just outside the box and forces Meslier into an easy save.

Man City 2 - 0 Leeds

24 mins: Shackleton flies down the right side and gives the ball to James who’s allowed his first chance to run at the Manchester City backline. He carries the ball into the box and looks for a cutback but Rodri is waiting in the middle to recover the ball and send City flying away on the counter-attack.

It’s the two goalscorers - Jack Grealish and Phil Foden - driving the ball forward and Foden eventually wins another corner for the home side.

Man City 2 - 0 Leeds

21 mins: Manchester City have been all over Leeds since the kick off. The visitors haven’t been able to create anything going forward and their key attacking players - Raphinha, Tyler Roberts, Dan James - have been asked to defend deep.

Rpahinha heads a De Bruyne free kick out of the box but Mahrez is given the ball back and he slides Bernardo into the left side of the box. Bernardo’s pass back into the middle can’t find a teammate though and Jamie Shackleton boots it clear for Leeds.
