Meanwhile Luton Town are making their first appearance in the Premier League, having risen from non-league in an incredible decade of progress. They followed Championship winners Burnley and second-placed Sheffield United in earning promotion to the top flight.

Another chance from another corner for Luton as a loose ball falls towards Chong at the post. The central midfielder can't quite get his body shape sorted and the ball deflects off his midriff and wide of the post.
