It's nearly brilliant, but Nunez's inventive effort takes a nick off the inside of Verbruggen's left leg and deflects wide of the target.

Welbeck manages to get to a ball over the top and cut it back for Moder, but the recipient's shot is deflected over the crossbar and out for a corner, which then comes to nothing.

Persistent work from Bradley sees him win the ball back and stride into the Brighton box. He then lays the ball back for Diaz, but the winger can't find the back of the net for a second time as his tame shot is saved comfortably by Verbruggen.

Brighton's response to seeing their lead eradicated has been impressive. They threaten down the left again, and the clever move ends with Welbeck blasting into the side-netting. They have certainly given the hosts some real warning signs at the back.
