From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

That's dreadful.
Marcus Rashford lets fly from 35 yards, wide on the left and mowing the Molineux lawn with a right miscue that scuttles five yards past Rui Patricio's right-hand post.

"Shoot!" suggest the home faithful as Ruben Neves picks the ball up on halfway.

Some fine cynical fouling on display from Wolves tonight. Ryan Bennett is the latest offender as Marcus Rashford toes it forward and runs by him.
PENALTY! Paul Pogba tumbles over the legs of Conor Coady and Jon Moss points to the spot!
Coady isn't complaining, despite minimal contact, and that's a penalty. VAR confirms as such.

SAVED! RUI PATRICIO DIVES TO HIS RIGHT AND BEATS IT OUT!
Powered to the left by Paul Pogba and powerfully palmed away by Rui Patricio. We remain level.

Manchester United have reset since the penalty miss, with the incident almost jolting them back into attacking life. Adama Traore tracks a Luke Shaw one-two well but can't help but concede a corner.

Nuno is stroking his beard and having a chat with a couple of assistants. The longer this goes on the more you think his side might just be able to nick one late on. Neither side has gone to their bench since Adama Traore's introduction at half-time.
78 minutes
Manchester United win a corner and then a throw, but Anthony Martial loses possession and concedes a free kick in frustration.

Right wing-back might be Adama Traore's role, you know.
He's been excellent since coming on, driving at the Manchester United defence repeatedly and causing problems each and every time, and though hamstrung by his lack of delivery in forward areas, he's a potent threat.
Further, his pace has been an asset defensively, and Marcus Rashford has really struggled to get going in this half.
