Bayern boss Flick responds to Boateng rumours
Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick has played down speculation linking Jerome Boateng with a move to Arsenal.
The German defender has emerged as a target for Mikel Arteta following the season-ending injury to Calum Chambers. The veteran centre-back could prove to be a quick fix for the Gunners, but Flick has revealed the 31-year-old has impressed during the mid-season break.
“Jerome is a Bayern player. He has trained well during the winter break,” Flick said.
Solskjaer responds to Jimenez speculation
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has responded to speculation linking Wolves striker Raul Jimenez with a move to Manchester United following the two sides’s goalless draw in the FA Cup third round.
The Mexican has been an important part of Nuno Espirito Santo’s side since moving to Molineux in 2018, scoring 34 goals in all competitions. His success has seen him linked with a move to Old Trafford and Solskjaer admits he was impressed with his performance against his side.
“Another good player being linked with us,” Solskjaer said following the draw.
Ziyech available in January
Arsenal and Tottenham target Hakim Ziyech has been told he can leave Ajax this month, according to Calcio Mercato.
Rated at £43m, the Moroccan surprisingly stayed with the Dutch giants after an impressive season last term.
But now the 26-year-old could move on, with the north London rivals able to step up their interest.
Lingard plotting United exit?
Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard appears to be putting moves in place for a future move.
That's because the Mail report Lingard is to link up with super agent Mino Raiola.
United have a frosty relationship with Raiola due to the club's lack of willingness to work with him on a deal to sign Erling Haaland.
This has made United fear keeping Lingard long-term may prove difficult.

After 13 goals in all competitions, including six in eight in Champions League qualification, the 26-year-old could be set for the Premier League.

Chelsea are also tracking Dinamo's teenage talent Antonio Marin, with Man City also previously linked with the Croatian winger.
Barcelona rule out Vidal exit this month
Barcelona will not allow Arturo Vidal to leave this month amid interest from Inter Milan.
Sport claim the Chilean, whose contract expires in 2021, has been informed he will not be leaving this month.
After scoring six goals and adding an assist this season, Vidal has grown unhappy at a lack of playing time, but the La Liga giants will not sanction a move back to Serie A until the summer.
City identify five centre-back options
Manchester City have drawn up a list of five centre-backs to help solve their defensive crisis, The Athletic report.
Inter's Milan Skriniar and Shakhtar's Mykola Matviyenko are thought to be among those being monitored. While Nathan Ake and Caglar Soyuncu are also on City's radar.
United and City consider Winks
