Welcome to The Independent's transfer live blog, where we'll bring you the latest news, rumours and done deals throughout the summer transfer window as the new Premier League season ticks ever closer.
With plenty of updates to bring you surrounding the likes of Paul Pogba, Harry Maguire and Danny Rose, let's not waste any time in getting underway.
We start the morning off with the latest on Paul Pogba's Manchester United future.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has gone on the charm offensive with the France midfielder, stressing that he can build his squad around the 26-year-old.
And in his latest comments from the club's pre-season tour of Australia, Solskjaer has reiterated where he sees Pogba in his future.
"Paul is a fantastic player, a fantastic human being and has always been a great professional," Solskjaer told reporters in Perth.
"I said (previously), 'if he's in your squad, you'd build your team around him'... I haven't changed that much since then, so I'd say the same now."
"We know Paul has been criticised by a few but he's loved by loads more. The ones that might want to leave (the club) now haven't been here when it's been successful. Hopefully they want to be part of that. I want to be part of it."
Arsenal are closing in on a move for Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos, according to reports in Spain.
The 22-year-old is looking to leave Madrid on a short-term basis to avoid another season on the substitutes' bench, with the Spain Under-21 international accepting that he will not gain the minutes he needs this season under Zinedine Zidane.
According to Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo, Arsenal are leading the race to sign Ceballos on a season-long loan, though Tottenham and AC Milan remain interested in the midfielder.
However, they add that there will NOT be a clause inserted into the contract for a future permanent transfer, with Ceballos still very much a part of Madrid's future plans.
Speaking of Arsenal, club director Josh Kroenke - son of majority shareholder Stan Kroenke - made a series of bold statements this week to claim that there is a plan in place to get the club back to its former glories.
A number of supporters' groups have united to form the #WeCareDoYou movement, calling on the board to prove that they are still a force to be reckoned with after missing out on the Champions League for the third consecutive season last time out.
But as chief football writer Miguel Delaney writes, Arsenal have some way to go to prove that these statement are in fact statements, and not just hot air.

Christian Eriksen is being viewed as a potential replacement for Paul Pogba if he leaves Manchester United this summer.
The Independent revealed yesterday that although United are confident of keeping hold of the 26-year-old, there is a Plan B at Old Trafford to bring in Eriksen to plug the large gap that would be left by Pogba's exit.
The Evening Standard reports though that United are not the only club in for Eriksen, as although Real Madrid's long-term interest remains, Atletico are not eyeing up a move for the Denmark international.
It's claimed Diego Simeone wants to sign a playmaking midfielder this summer and that the 27-year-old fits the profile of what he is looking for, though Spurs will driver a hard bargain if they are to let him go over the next month.
Some breaking news coming out of Spain...
Sky Sports are reporting that Tottenham have agreed a £21.7m fee with Atletico Madrid to sell England defender Kieran Trippier.
The 28-year-old will travel to Spain today to undergo a medical and agree personal terms, four years after joining Spurs from Burnley for just £3.5m that represents a nice profit for the north London club.
Here's a few more details on the move that looks set to take the England international to La Liga.

Another England international set to follow Trippier out of the Tottenham exit is his fellow defender Danny Rose.
The Telegraph reports that Rose is a surprise omission from Mauricio Pochettino's pre-season squad that will embark on their tour of Singapore in order to allow the club to negotiate his departure.
Rose has flirted with an exit in the past, and it appears that Spurs are ready to let the left-back go after 12 years with the club.
Newcastle United have confirmed the appointment of Steve Bruce as their new manager on a three-year-deal, with the former Sunderland boss quitting his role with Sheffield Wednesday at the start of the week to formalise his return to the north east.
Here's more from the new Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce, who has said that it is not only a "special day" for himself but also his family given his father's relationship with the Magpies.
"I'm delighted and incredibly proud to be appointed as head coach of Newcastle," Bruce told the club's website. "This is my boyhood club and it was my dad's club, so this is a very special moment for me and my family.
"There is a huge challenge ahead of us, but it's one that my staff and I are ready for. We'll roll our sleeves up and we'll be giving it everything from the off to ensure supporters have a successful team that they can be proud of."
Matthijis de Ligt has arrived in Turin to undergo a medical with Juventus.
De Ligt will cost the Italian champions £67.5 million, who announced that he was "happy to be here."
The Ajax captain scored the winning goal against Juventus that sent the Amsterdam club through to last season's champions league semi-final, where they then lost to Tottenham.
