The new champions began the day on 92 points, and with four games remaining they can set a new benchmark for top-flight points. However they will have to do it without their captain Jordan Henderson after he was ruled out for the rest of the campaign, and face a Burnley side in good form since the restart.

Burnley are in good form right now, and Liverpool are without their captain, but even Sean Dyche will struggle to come up with a way to stop Liverpool in full flow. Liverpool 2-0 Burnley.
That's it for the first half. That late goal from Jesus will have deflated Brighton, who at 1-0 down were still in the game. In truth, though, it's been completely dominant from City, who look capable of scoring plenty more after the break. A tough night for Graham Potter and his players so far.
48 min: City have picked up where they left off before the break, which doesn't bode well for Brighton. They'd probably settle for a 0-2 defeat at this point.
50 min: City work the ball intricately on the edge of the box and De Bruyne draws a foul from Bissouma. The Belgian is probably favourite to take this free kick, which is in shooting range.
51 min: Off the post! De Bruyne hits the free kick superbly, dipping it up and over the wall and striking the woodwork. Ryan was helpless, and almost gets caught out as Silva drills the ball back into the middle from the rebound.
53 min: City's pressing has been relentless tonight in a game that is effectively a dead rubber. Guardiola's standards are high, though, and these players want to impress ahead of the Champions League next month.

And there's the third goal. Mahrez curls a cross into the middle and Sterling is there unmarked to plant a diving header past Ryan. It's far too easy for City.

This could get embarrassing for Brighton. Bernardo Silva is next on the scoresheet. He finds space on the edge of the box and hits a low shot at goal. Ryan appears to have saved it, but spills the ball. The rebound comes back to Silva, who slots into an empty net.
