The new champions began the day on 92 points, and with four games remaining they can set a new benchmark for top-flight points. However they will have to do it without their captain Jordan Henderson after he was ruled out for the rest of the campaign, and face a Burnley side in good form since the restart.

Burnley are in good form right now, and Liverpool are without their captain, but even Sean Dyche will struggle to come up with a way to stop Liverpool in full flow. Liverpool 2-0 Burnley.
8 min: Mahrez's corner is glanced on at the near post by Jesus but Dunk is there to clear.
10 min: City beat Brighton 4-0 at the Etihad way back in August, and the hosts will have to work hard to avoid a similar scoreline tonight. Potter's side do actually have a better defensive record some of the teams above them, though. One of them is Chelsea, who've now let in two more goals than the Seagulls after their defeat at Sheffield United.
13 min: City are controlling things, as expected, early on, but Brighton are holding firm so far.
16 min: Brighton force a corner, which City deal with. At the other end, Sterling tees up Mendy, whose low shot deflects just wide.
17 min: Close! Mahrez's corner is swung into the middle and falls for Garcia a few yards out. He sees it late and can't quite sort his feet out in time to convert. That's a chance, though, for the visitors.
19 min: Mahrez, who's started well, plays a delicate pass out to De Bruyne on the right, and the Belgian sends one of his tradermark whipped crosses into the box. Dunk does well to deal with it, but City are beginning to assert themselves on the home side now.

Superb from Sterling! Jesus heads the ball into his path and he cuts inside before guiding a low shot into the bottom right corner. It's clinical from Sterling, who scores his 15th league goal of the season.
23 min: Mendy almost doubles City's lead immediately, played in down the left and slamming a shot against the side netting. Time for a drinks break.
26 min: Brighton string a few passes together in the final third for the first time in a while, until eventually Trossard tries to curl a shot into the far corner from the left. Ederson watches on as it flies wide.
