Both newly-promoted sides were looking to bounce back from opening-weekend defeats, and it was the hosts who found themselves on the right side of a 4-3 thriller following last weekend’s defeat by Liverpool.
Helder Costa put Marcelo Bielsa’s side ahead early before Aleksandar Mitrovic equalised from the spot. A penalty followed up the other end, however, with Mateusz Klich also netting. Costa scored his second of the day in the latter half before Bamford added Leeds’ fourth, and although Bobby Decordova-Reid’s strike and a second for Mitrovic set up a dramatic finish, the hosts emerged with the win. The three newly promoted teams, West Brom, Leeds and Fulham have conceded 22 goals between them in just two weeks. This could be a long season if they don;t shore up their defences.

90+2 mins: Lemina almost gets a shot away from the edge of the box but Klich slips a foot in and takes the ball away from him. Leeds are on the verge of a big three points!
90 mins: Tete goes in the book for yanking Harrison to the ground. There’s four minutes added time to play.
87 mins: The home side have another good chance to go for goal. They win a free kick about 23-yards away from goal, Harrison takes it but hits the wall. Fulham then clear it.
84 mins: Back to Elland Road, Fulham are chasing an improbable equaliser but they have some defending to do here. Klich catches Lemina on the ball and he breaks into the box. He tries to square the ball ot Alioski but overhits the pass, good chance missed for Leeds.
