Hello and welcome along to live updates from Crystal Palace vs Everton, very much the 'Wilfried Zaha derby' of the recent transfer window. We'll have all the team news and build-up right here from 2pm ahead of the game at Selhurst Park...
Zaha on the bench
As expected, Wilfried Zaha is on the bench after a dramatic end to the transfer window.
He handed in a transfer request one the eve of the window closes and Everton, today's opponents, failed to sign him.
Zaha was part of the Ivory Coast's side in the Africa Cup of Nations and did not play in pre-season, which is why he features on the bench.
He has received a round of applause as he came out to warm up and he clapped in response to the supporters.
2: Everton have an early chance!
Palace only clear Lucas Digne's cross as far as the edge of the penalty area and Gylfi Sigurdsson latches onto a shot, which drifts wide. You feel a better connection on that and Everton could well be ahead.
8: This is exactly how you might imagine the first game of the season will look. There's lots of over-hit passes and loose touches out there.
Both sides not at their absolute best.
10: Everton are pressing well and quickly winning back possession, often by forcing Palace to go long.
15: Off the line!
Everton drill a low corner to Sigurdsson, who gets to the ball first and his shot is going in but for Christian Benteke's header off the line.
Everton on top.
19: Everton are all over Crystal Palace and all of their attacks are coming down the left, Digne and Bernard are causing the home side problems. Palace are relying on Joel Ward after selling Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United.
